Slightly off topic but I'd appreciate some feedback if possible 18 months post ablation, things going well and a telephone review with the arrhythmia nurse last week. Much fewer episodes, months apart and relatively mild Advice given to go on the list for an RF touch-up which could take a while so relax

Why won’t my GP prescribe lupus drug treatment?
Hi, I have lots of lupus symptoms dismissed by a useless rheumatologist who didn’t understand the word I was saying, I have been having a very bad flare with lots of GI issues to,GP took bloods very anaemic positive ana 1/400 positive DS DNA over 40. She was originally thinking inflammatory bowel disease

Hi , not sure if this too off topic but looking for some reassurance after a worrying test result. I've never been diagnosed with IBS but gave suffered most if not all the symptoms for many years .I've always had what I call a nervous stomach since childhood and am used to the discomfort, the effects

Normocytic Anemia,.
I have had 12 weekly B12 injections for a few years now. In February I discovered I have Normocytic anemia, and my gp told me that it occurs due to blood loss and my red cell count is low. I had a FIT test wwhich came back negative, which is great. But I am having a colonoscopy and gastrostomy

Positive FOBT and clear colonoscopy with no answers to bleeding and mucus in stool.
I’m 26 and was having stomach pains mostly on the left and lower abdomen. I have blood and mucus in my stools and they are flat. I tested positive with the Fecal Occult Stool test but my colonoscopy came clear. The doctor didn’t say if I had hemorrhoids or anything and hasn’t referred me to the gastro

PA & UC ?
I have thought for the last 10 years I had PA ( B12 score was 68) but now I am not sure as I have just been diagnosed with UC ( Ulcerative colitis). I had the endoscopy & colonoscopy via my works insurance as my Dr wouldn't refer me. Apparently the specialist tested me for IF but I cant seem to get hold

It is also currently in testing for other health issues including Parkinson's

Update Colonoscopy
I had my colonoscopy today glad is over! LOL so everything looks normal they didn’t find anything they took some biopsies. They found a small polyp 3mm in size in my rectum which they remove. Just waiting on results for biopsies. Dr. recommends to have a capsule endoscopy next to look in the small intestine

Anxiety
Hi all. I am pretty anxious right now. I’ve had some constipation issues over the last few months and my doctor referred me to a gastro who has scheduled me for a colonoscopy on June 23rd. I’m a bit nervous. In the past, i used to notice bleeding every now and then but was always told it was most likely

My appointment for a Colonoscopy.
I took the first dose of Moviprep Wednesday after having a CT scan. It was a introduction to Dysentry. I had a hell of a time with explosive episodes that ruined the carpet in the downstairs loo. I took the second dose Thursday morning hoping it might clean my bowels out and start looking clearer. It

New member not diagnosed.
Hello everyone, I'm a new member here who's spent the last couple weeks researching liver disease, reading your stories, trying to prepare myself for what I may have to look forward to. A little back story. I'm a 38 year old disabled combat veteran. I sustained a traumatic brain injury while in Iraq

Recovering after Radiation
I finished my 5 rounds of Radiation Tuesday. I had some bowel irritation over the long weekend after Round 4, now having more after round 5. Gas and diarrhea together, what a treat. The NP told me to try Imodium, and heck next time I need a new safe I will contact the guys who packaged those tablets
