and have they be it fitted. Thanks so much.,

Botox injection
I expect not to poop for a few days after a
colostomy
but I’m feeling uncomfortable now and I’m a bit worried about the swelling, I assume it’s from the Botox, Which may be causing s an obstruction. I don’t see the surgeon for another week. Does anyone have any advice apart from not to panic.

Now being around one year ago which began the discovery of Stage IV progression, the finding of mets inadvertently during an attempted Appendectomy, subsequent second successful

Thought it was under control after years of multiple serious surgeries and diet changes but now facing new battles - any advice welcome
I was marked up for a
colostomy
bag and while it was incredibly daunting I was of the mindset that if that meant I would be better, in less pain and able to do normal daily things again, then so be it.

I’ve been advised I will always need to take something for stage 4 endo and adeno as I’m only allowed one more surgery which is hysterectomy and likely
colostomy
bag. For now, I’ve been provided with degesterol 75mg pills to take each day.

Another update
So as you all know I had the emergency loop
colostomy
about 6 weeks ago. All was going well. Friday 2nd July had some low level stomach pain around 5pm and then the stoma prolapsed about 4 inches. Long story short, emergency op at local hospital for a refashioned stoma on Saturday 3rd July.

Advice on open surgery
He said he’d try and not touch the bowels more than he needs to but I may end up with a
colostomy
bag for a few months … I’m really worried about the whole thing and to top it off, I’ve got a severe type of asthma so they’re very concerned about my going under general anaesthetic.

Mirena coil moved, strings missing, possible surgery needed to remove.
My consultant had previously said there was only surgery option left which was hysterectomy and removal of remaining ovary and likely
colostomy
bag. Discovered yesterday my endo specialist has left uk to work abroad so unsure who I even contact now about my case.

Scared
I have 2 stomas (
colostomy
and an urostomy). The urostomy is fine but the
colostomy
does what it wants. My
colostomy
is very slow and there isn’t much poo in my stoma bag. I think it is constipation because with a bowel obstruction I get terrible pain.

Radiation Enteritis - I feel very alone
I also have two stomas (
colostomy
and an urostomy). I was told in April that I would need an ileostomy, so I would have 3 stomas and this was reiterated over the weekend. I am home now but I get a lot of pain with wind.

Cancer, My Story
Would I like to have had the
colostomy
? I sure would have. Those I know who have had colon cancer do have a better life style than I. Travel, dining out, and social activities are very difficult as I must eat at least two hours before I do anything.

So Scared
I worry if my
colostomy
doesn’t work and it is very hit and miss now. I only eat soup and yogurt. I don’t know what to do. Any suggestions, please?

Full Hysterectomy with Ovary Removal and Stoma
Am conflicted about what to do, as with any surgery there is a risk - apart from anything else, of having a
colostomy
for the rest of my days. Has anyone else had anything similar?

End Colostomy
So it looks like endometrial cancer and subsequent brachytherapy resulting in radiation proctitis in my anal canal is going to end up in an end
colostomy
. Does anyone here have experience of dealing with this please?

When you get fed up and email Mr Bojo Johnson 🤣
In Feb my ovary measured 3.5cm Complex Cyst, Abscessed In March after MRI I was told it was 3cm, and if there ‘was any residual infection I would need a
colostomy
, because the bowel wall will go with it at surgery).
