Colonoscopy

After a positive FIT test I was referred for an urgent endoscopy and colonoscopy. Nothing of any importance was found, I came off the lansoprazole and actually started to slowly recover. Fast forward to 8 weeks ago and I got a tummy bug followed by a UTI.

I managed to get an appointment with a GP ( a story in itself ), to be fair he didn't fob me off - I was 50 in the summer - he is arranging a colonoscopy and I have had my bloods taken.

this Friday I’m having colonoscopy and the throat one can’t remember what it is called. I’m on 13mg dr said on Thursday have 25 and nil on Friday then Saturday back to 13. Will this mess things up or will it be ok?

I’m now booked in for a colonoscopy on Thursday. I’ve started to get quite bad upper abdomen pain and feel like I’m bloated all the time in this last week. I’m not sure if I’m stressing myself out and making myself worse.

I had a colonoscopy done, nothing found except a few pockets of divertculosis and an inner hemorrhoid. I finally got to see an actual GI Doctor yesterday. He went over my 3 blood tests, my 2 stool samples, urine samples... and told me that nothing is wrong with me at all.

Hi, I've always had loose stools however recently they became looser with mucus, my doctor took bloods which were fine but my stools showed microscopic blood in my stools ,he referred me for a colonoscopy I'm worried this could be serious, I have no other symptoms and feel well any thoughts

Pandol and staff (Cedars Sinai) have performed an MRCP with secretin, stool study, Endoscopy, Upper GI series and most recently and EUS and colonoscopy. All tests have come back normal.

Im nervous about this as I had a colonoscopy years ago and for whatever reason the sedation didn't work at all even though they gave me more. They are trying to decide whether to sedate me or not. Also how long will I need off work afterwards? Im absolutely dreading this.

So I was all mentally prepared to have my colonoscopy tomorrow. Have gone through the 2 days of low residue diet too. Now had to cancel my appointment as I appear to be allergic to the Moviprep.

My consultant did mention that if the colonoscopy was normal I would have the pill camera. The CT scan showed Colitis/terminal ileitis in April and my colonoscopy was in July. I'm really surprised the colonoscopy was normal. What could cause this? 

Our GP told me that this is probably related to me taking Eliquis and is probably not serious if I don't have other symptoms but I need to have a colonoscopy just to be sure. This is booked for next month. I'm just wondering if anyone else out there has had a similar experience.

Hi All Im not really sure where to begin on here, I am feeling so deflated. I am currently waiting to restart drugs for my FET (date not confirmed) after my last implant date was cancelled 3 days before. I am doing IVF PGD due to a genetic condition my husband has. I had my usual cervical screening

I have had an endoscopy and colonoscopy - both normal and no signs of gastritis, no reflux, no h pylori. My question is - if PA is end stage autoimmune gastritis - how do I have normal scopes and no GI issues? I also recently tested positive for Hashimoto’s as well.

He has written to my gp and suggests i have a colonoscopy to check i dont have anyone other issues causing the bleed. But he thinks its more than likely endo/hormone related as it only happens on my periodm I am on an urgent list for a colonoscopy ans MRI scan.

I heard today that I have an appointment for a routine, 3-yearly, colonoscopy in 13 days time and I will see the anaesthetist on Monday. In France colonoscopies are always done with GA and usually it's a 10-15 minute procedure and you wake up as soon as it is finished.

I've had a colonoscopy, endoscopy and a gastroscopy to be told by my gastro specialist that its not gastro related which I already knew. Ive had 2 ultrasounds and both showed cysts on the ovaries, one side had haemorrhagic cysts the other normal small cysts.

It spurred me to try and get in for a colonoscopy: Am I overreacting or is this reasonable for me to do?

I am awaiting an appointment for a colonoscopy and she has said that she will write back to me with the findings. Has anyone experienced this and has it been bad news? Thanks

Family and friends would say I have a healthy diet and cook with little or no processed foods. My stomach does not like too much fibre

, (btw my mom found out she had lump in her liver when she had a whole abdomen ultrasound on 2019, she didn’t know she had it bc she doesn’t have any symptoms) the doctor then suggest to get whole abdomen Ct scan instead of colonoscopy.
