Orbita trial.
It's been an interesting few weeks lately as have had an orthopaedic appointment ( for knee) and the
colonoscopy
and haven't been able to say whether I have a stent or not, at least I will know now.

cologuard vs colonoscopy
Is the non-invasive cologuard acceptable rather than a
colonoscopy
? I had a
colonoscopy
ten years ago and was clean. I’m due again and am wondering about cologuard vs.
colonoscopy
.

Bowel Bleeding - being passed between gynae and gastro
Investigations: 10 years ago -

Update on my post Confused
Well I did the endoscopy and
colonoscopy
last week. Am happy that they found nothing new just a suggestion for another in 10 years…Yea So the Gastroenterologist suggested Cholestyramine. I think it may be contradicted in kidney patients and people whom have had intestinal blockages.

CT showed up possible endometriosis but MRI completely normal. Has anyone else had this?
I am due to have a
colonoscopy
in a couple of weeks time. I am beyond fed up and rarely get out. A car journey to the shops is traumatic enough with the constant Tenesmus. We don’t go out out to eat anymore as I can’t even make it back from a restaurant, even if I stick to my “safe food”.

Colonoscopy and persistent AF
Has anyone with persistent AF/ heart failure undergone a
colonoscopy
. I have been advised to have further investigation following the discovery of 'blood' and really nervous about having it done.

Iron Levels with CLL
I see a local doctor who didn't seem too concerned and I also see a doc in Cincinnati that says low iron is not normal with CLL/acalabrutinib, so he wants me to have an upper GI and
colonoscopy
. My last
colonoscopy
was in 2017 and they found no issues. The iron issue has been off/on since 2021.

I Stand Corrected, A New FMT/PD Study Originating In the USA!
They used "FMT capsules" and that may not be the most effective method, but it seems much less invasive than
colonoscopy
delivery.

Colonoscopy
done and dusted, nothing sinister, just a bit of diverticulitis. Just waiting for a March to come now and find if I had a stent as part of ORBITA trial. Hopefully can get myself on list to get my knee done now.

NHS messed up my first cycle for sure (RANT) Feedback welcome
The more I learn about IVF medication and protocols the more sure I am that my first cycle was totally wrong. AMH-3, FSH - 7, afc - 8 Right before i was due to start I stupidly shared my abnormal smear results with the NHS IVF clinic which advised a colposcopy. I was advised by the nurse to start

Undiagnosed ET….advice please!
Although I’ve had lots of bloods done and an endoscopy,
colonoscopy
, I have not been sent for a scan on my spleen. I’ve also read that it may be wise to get checked for lungs, breast and ovaries….

Colonoscopies after Salvage SBRT -- How Safe?
Can a
colonoscopy
damage the rectum -- especially if one has had salvage SBRT for prostate cancer? It has been 12 years since my last
colonoscopy
. That
colonoscopy
as well as several earlier ones, did not find any polyp. Thanks for any comment you might have. Boon

Possible Bowel Cancer
He called them and said he still needed to send it as the problem was ongoing so instead they booked him in directly for a
colonoscopy
. He attended his appointment and the doctor advised that he had found a large polyp on his colon and that he couldn’t rule out bowel cancer.

Has anyone had Increased Anxiety while taking Calquence?
I was off the drug for several minor operations:
colonoscopy
, dental surgery. I'm off the drug for 3 months now & I'm becoming less anxious, calmer and more like my very active self again.

Endometriosis & Third Trimester Pregnancy
I was placed on a long waiting list for a
colonoscopy
which took over a year! I have since & now pregnant! I have recently heard back for my

but can’t have this done whilst being so heavily pregnant. I really do not know what to do!

Advice if possible
Poo tests and bloods did not show any potential bowel issues but I am having a
colonoscopy
to be sure. The bloods have, however, thrown up some other issues: ALT 352; AST 381; Fib 4 score of 5.82. Also ANA positive Titre Units 1280.
