I have been taking 250 mg Azithromycin 3 time a week for the last 11 years and have no side effects after my lung transplant and Bactrim 800/160 tabs 3 days a week.

Collapsed lung :(
Went in on Friday to have a scheduled lung biopsy and after feeling enormous pain after the procedure I find out my right
lung
fully
collapsed
. This was something I feared, but was also told it's only a 2% chance of this happening.

ALK, ROSI, EGFR mutations. Webcast Saturday 20th August.
This Saturday there is a webcast that we can tap into in Colorado. It's called 2016 Targeted Therapies in Lung Cancer Patient Forum. It's 15 US dollars. For further information and to register the link is www.cancerGRACE.org It sounds interesting and the cost seems good too. Definitely cheaper than going

Not sure what to do long story
Hi all, This is probably going to sound like one odd story but let me inform you that none of it is made up or over exaggerated. Let me start from the beginning before the issues started which funny enough involved a pip form so I'm going back about two months ago. I had received my pip form to fill

Asbestos & Diagnosis
As some of you may be (or not be) aware. I have fought for 3 years to prove I had asbestosis, which was my original diagnosis. Because I was going down hill so fast all the 'Top Dogs' have said I had IPF and not asbestosis as asbestosis was a gradual decline and not aggressive? but non could answer

Need someone to talk to
Hi there, my mum was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer two months ago which has spread to her spine. She is currently undergoing chemo and is doing well. The oncologist/lung nurses etc all comment on how well she is. I am really struggling to remain upbeat. Mum is incredibly positive and will not let

Just to introduce myself
Hi I have been recently diagnosed with bronchiectasis after years of repeated severe chest infections, resulting in
collapsed
lung
and pneumonia. I just accepted this as normal because I ruptured my main bronchus in a motorcycle accident 32 years ago.

As I just wrote a couple days ago, during my last procedure my right
lung
collapsed
. He was honest with telling me that it will be collapsing again for sure. Can anyone tell me any other high risk or dangers I should be prepared for?

Controversial I know.....
But if there is a 'better' lung disease to be diagnosed with, I am thinking lung cancer gives more hope than say nsip or uip and there is more treatment available and more is known about lung cancer, I'm sorry if this offends anyone, but I am genuinely in the dark on this, and would value

Lung cancer? Me? No way.......
A few months ago if you would have asked me to list 10 things from which I might die, I would have listed heart failure from watching the New Orleans Saints way before lung cancer. I've never smoked, never been around second hand smoke, and never had a direct relative with lung cancer who didn't smoke
