Body tremor
Does anyone know if body tremors can be heart related? Laying in bed last night and just couldn't settle. Recently diagnosed with myocarditis and mild heart failure. Could not seem to settle last night brain just wouldn't switch off. I've been having leg pains so was probably over thinking this but then

My 10 year old son has been diagnosed with FMF and prescribed with Colchicine for long term use. I am devastated and would like some help on others that have gone through this experience. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Behcet's Specialist in the UK for bowel & joint symptoms
Hi. I'm wondering if anyone could recommend any specialists in the UK (London in I'm lucky) who could help manage my Behcet's disease. I am really affected by colitis type symptoms (bloody diarrhoea, abdominal pains, etc) as well as joint pains & stiffness, swellings & twitching/tremor from muscle weaknesses

Newly diagnosed bechets
Hi all, Iv been back and forth between rheumatologist, eye consultants, dermatologist and the rest for over a year and a half now. Firstly they thought it was lupus, then porphyria, then a few others chucked in the mix - now I’m finally down to bechets with a small possibility of periodic syndrome.

Myopericarditis how long to recover
Hello. Wondering how to write this first post and actually still trying to figure out how I got to this point. I was a very active, working mum. I used to teach 4 to 5 spinning classes and play netball every week. Yes I'm 50 but I was a very fit 50 year old. Then I find myself getting out of breath

Vaccine induced myocarditis
Hi! I’m new here and wanted to share my daughter’s story, get support, and see what’s helping everyone. My 20 year old daughter started having chest pain 24 hours after her second Moderna. She had it on September 10th. She woke the morning after with fever, body aches, and headache. She told me that

Update on my ongoing pericarditis after second Moderna vaccine
Please see my original post for new members. For those who have seen my original post and following my progress. Today I saw the cardiologist and my ECG has always shown an elevated ST segment which indicates pericarditis and my previous echo showed normal heart function but the pericardium was inflamed

Colchicine
I wonder how many were given Colchicine after their ablation and for how long? Were you able to stay on it or did side effects cause you to discontinue it? Reading medical journals it appears to reduce early AFib reoccurrences by up to 40% in some trials. In other trials up to 50% discontinued it due

Pericarditis after second Moderna vaccine, advice and input required
Hi, Im pretty new here apart from interacting on the odd post. A bit about me first, I'm 34, never smoked and rarely drink. I keep fit with gym work and running and have to be fit for my job as a firefighter. 10 days after my second vaccine I presented at A&E with an odd mild chest pain on my left side

Colchicine with Pfizer shot to mitigate myocarditis risk.
Does anyone know if it’s ok to take colchicine before or after the Covid vaccine? Are there any contraindications? Thanks.

Pericarditis Pfizer
Unfortunately I had a reaction to the Pfizer Jab and developed Pericarditis and inflammation on my lung. I had no underlying health conditions and am still struggling with symptoms. Pericarditis, Myocarditis, perimyocarditis after pfizer vaccination.
7 weeks ago I was diagnosed with perimyocarditis 2 weeks after my first pfizer vaccination. I'm male 38 and going by statistics looks like Im a bit of a unicorn. Anyway it's been a real struggle with recovery. Expectations from doc was 2 weeks and I should feel about 80% fit, and about another month

Colchicine - does it help your joint pain?
I am wondering if any of my fellow sufferers out there are on colchicine and if they find it helps or not? I have been on it about 6 weeks now and admit it has reduced my ulcers and skin issues but the pain in my joints is still unbearable and escalating. Does anyone out there find it helps with the

Pain by left ribs
I have had worsening pain and swelling by my left ribs since having pericarditis and an effusion . I saw my gp and she said it could just be that my chest is more prominent that side . It’s so bad now that I have started using voltarol gel along with strong pain relief to try to sleep, if I lean forward

Pressure / Stabbing Pain
Hi Everyone, I'm writing to ask if anyone has any idea about what might be going on with my heart please. I'm getting pains which I can only try to describe as a stabbing / pressure sensation. They started around March of this year which was about the time when I had my second Pfizer Coronavirus vaccination
