Update on ablation part 3

Hello, sorry this in three parts but I keep remembering things after I have done other posts, the consultant has put me on colchicine anti inflammatory which he said will make me sick and have loose bowel movements, I looked it up and it sounds very toxic , has any one had experience of being on this and what should I expect.

Thanks

I was given it by my GP for suspected gout which it turned out i didnt have but had an inflamed foot. I was so poorly on it that i stooped it after a few days, it was a vile drug for me but then we are all different. My doctor instructed me to stop it immediately as i was vomiting and had diarrhoea.

Thank you, my cardiologist told me it will make me ill and I’m to stay on it for two months.

I was on it for several months for a different condition, not afib. I am always prone to loose bowel moments from many things, but after the initial few tablets I adapted and it was not an issue for the rest of the time I took it.

Hello, I’ve only taken two tablets so far but I guess when it gets about day 3 or 4 I might know how I react.

I was on colchicine for a short period (a couple of weeks maybe?) but do not remember having any noticeable side effects.
