what next heart rate high again and I am now symptomatic
I had heart bypass 2013 and pacemaker 2015 due to af and low hr. Then 3 years ago I started taking digoxin to lower high heart rates and it seemed to work. I have just been to Spain on holiday and ended up hospitalised 2 days due to chest pain and breathless all tests revealed no heart attack, echocardiogram

I have been told I have Vasculitis not sure what type. Hospital sent for me as they were worried about my kidneys. After spending a worrying night in hospital I was told after a Anca blood test it was found it was only mild so was not put on steroids. Told just need routine blood test at GP surgery.

cardioversion within 3 weeks of ablation?
Despite playing by the book and doing everything I could, I’ve been back in persistent AFib for 4 days since my ablation two and a half weeks ago. The arrhythmia team had me in for an ECT today and are arranging an appointment for a cardioversion possibly this Saturday. Just wondering if anyone else

hello there. I’m looking for some thoughts regarding PIP. I will be 65 in January 24. In 2012 I had my left lung removed as a result of lung cancer. Ergo I now have 50 % less breathing capacity. I was retired early and had my pension was released. At that time I applied for DLA, and received the higher

How do you manage obsessive thoughts?
I was wondering if anyone is comfortable talking about how they manage their obsessive thoughts? This is one of the things I struggle with alot. I have intrusive thoughts than then turn obsessive. Mostly it's about my past and the mistakes I've made so I'm left feeling immense shame which heightens my

Hi everyone. I have heard from many of you that you use cbd for pain. Would you please share your experience with me. I have gone to 2 stores and whatever they recommended didn’t work. If you get them online and find that they REALLY HELP could you please share the website. Thank you. I’m just so tired

Hi everyone I just joined and was hoping for some opinions whilst I wait for my next appointment. I used to HCV which was treated successfully around 8 years ago . My fibroscan result before treatment was 22.9 and was told I have Cirrhosis . After around 2 years of being svr, cured my next fibroscan

antidepressants and liver disease
I have severe liver fibrosis and have had to start taking Escitalopram for depression. My doctor has put me on 15mg but instructions and websites say patients with liver disease should be on no more than 10mg. Anyone else taking this dose or higher which has been approved by your consultant please?

Does donating 1 liter of blood increase chance of going back into Afib?
I had surgical ablation on 9/8. Stayed in sinus rhythm for 2 weeks then back to Afib. I had a cardioversion 2 weeks ago and have stayed in sinus. I need to have 1 liter of blood drawn because my iron levels are too high. Does anyone know if taking out that much blood will increase my chances of going

ozempic / Wegovy question
Hi. I need to lose weight having been diagnosed with cirrhosis and being significantly overweight. I will talk to my doctor about it but just wanted to ask if anyone has had experience of using the new weight loss meds on the market with cirrhosis. I understand they’re under the brand names of Ozempic

Fibroccan vs MRI scan of liver
Hello I've had an MRI small bowel scan which reported that I have hepatic steatosis. What does a Fibroscan of the liver pick up that an MRI scan does not?

one month post op
I am one month out from my liver transplant, and am still in horrible pain, have lost 40 pounds, of which I did not have to loose, still taking OxyContin regularly, can’t sleep, and can’t eat solid foods. Any suggestions? Feeling absolutely miserable, and NO energy.
