Hello
I've had an MRI small bowel scan which reported that I have hepatic steatosis.
What does a Fibroscan of the liver pick up that an MRI scan does not?

Fibroscan actually gives you numbers on how much steatosis you have and and how much fibrosis measured as KPA. The MRI can just tell you that you have it, the fibroscan can tell you actually how much of it do you have and is it turning into fibross.
