Gm ladies n gentlemen, after a stabilization psa between 1.5-1.7 for the last two months solely on ivermectin, I incorporated cbd, turmeric, zinc a lot of fruits especially cherries šŸ’ and the pits (2-5 daily) of cherries, peaches, plums n apricots for the natural amygdalin nutrient and I am happy to say my psa dropped another .19 points to 1.47 from 1.66. While I asked my med oncologist if itā€™s a concern that psa wasnā€™t dropping after it stabilized he said absolutely not, but that it would be if it started rising and or doubling. Again Iā€™m not recommending anyone try this as everyoneā€™s body reacts differently, just stating the facts of my experience and anyone can come to their own conclusion, maybe even have a conversation w their moā€¦Good luck all n keep up this fight against this dreaded disease w as much of an open mind as possibleā€¦

Wow 85, thatā€™s quite the regiment, Iā€™m no where near as diligent but am getting the good results and I think adding the Cherry pits really helped it drop another.19 points. I will def look into a few more of your supplements as they all seem to be effective. Is your psa remaining stableā€¦

I searched online for evidence whether amygdalin is effective against prostate cancer. I could only find in-vitro and mouse studies. Here is one of the better recent studies.

Simple Summary

The natural compound amygdalin is popular among tumor patients as an alternative treatment option. However, knowledge about its precise mode of action remains poor. In the present study, amygdalin is shown to inhibit growth and disseminative properties of taxane-resistant prostate cancer cells. Further investigation is warranted to determine the role of amygdalin in the setting of metastasized prostate cancer.

Abstract

Despite recent advances in the treatment of metastatic prostate cancer (PCa), resistance development after taxane treatments is inevitable, necessitating effective options to combat drug resistance. Previous studies indicated antitumoral properties of the natural compound amygdalin. However, whether amygdalin acts on drug-resistant tumor cells remains questionable. An in vitro study was performed to investigate the influence of amygdalin (10 mg/mL) on the growth of a panel of therapy-naĆÆve and docetaxel- or cabazitaxel-resistant PCa cell lines (PC3, DU145, and LNCaP cells). Tumor growth, proliferation, clonal growth, and cell cycle progression were investigated. The cell cycle regulating proteins (phospho)cdk1, (phospho)cdk2, cyclin A, cyclin B, p21, and p27 and the mammalian target of rapamycin (mTOR) pathway proteins (phospho)Akt, (phospho)Raptor, and (phospho)Rictor as well as integrin Ī²1 and the cytoskeletal proteins vimentin, ezrin, talin, and cytokeratin 8/18 were assessed. Furthermore, chemotactic activity and adhesion to extracellular matrix components were analyzed. Amygdalin dose-dependently inhibited tumor growth and reduced tumor clones in all (parental and resistant) PCa cell lines, accompanied by a G0/G1 phase accumulation. Cell cycle regulating proteins were significantly altered by amygdalin. A moderate influence of amygdalin on tumor cell adhesion and chemotaxis was observed as well, paralleled by modifications of cytoskeletal proteins and the integrin Ī²1 expression level. Amygdalin may, therefore, block tumor growth and disseminative characteristics of taxane-resistant PCa cells. Further studies are warranted to determine amygdalinā€™s value as an antitumor drug.

Graham thanks for the thorough breakdown but thatā€™s what I keep reading is that further studies need to be done but they donā€™t do them n we all probably know why. Since itā€™sa natural fruit n has the almond looking seed in it, Iā€™ma believer in moderate Rec doses previously taken and so far it dropped the psa .19 points after just a cpl weeks of doing soā€¦

Good news. What is the Ivermectin doing for you against the PC? I had never heard of it till some folks claimed it helped against COVID back before vaccines.

Nfler profile image
Nflerā€¢ in reply toMikeski

Well thereā€™s strong research on it's ability to cause Ao1/k1-k2 apoptosis of adv Pca cells and until I started taking it my psa would go to 6-7 when I would get off adt and now it remains at 1.5-1.7, then I started the natural amygdalin n it dropped further to the current 1.47

There is already a lot of research available on the internet about ivermectin killing cancer. Some use it in combination with Abendazole.

AGAIN: be careful for overdose. Read up a lot of how the half life of this stays in your bloodstream.

And good luck. Throw your cancer with everything available in the kitchen.

I take IVM and Mebendazole.

Has it kept your psa stable

Nfler profile image
Nflerā€¢ in reply toThinus

Yes thinus, thatā€™s why I only take it 4 days a week at 19 mg/day and have taken up to 48mg/day but it seems to make my eyes a little sensitive to night lights especially green but at current dose no problems. I bump it up a little if thereā€™s any rise in psaā€¦

IVM did lower my PSA before I got my proton radiation treatments in May. IVM did drop it some. Anyway, I still take IVM.

What dosage do you find best?

I personally like 19mg/day 4x/week with no side effects n stable psa

Looks like you've had quite a bit of standard treatment, and your measuring periods are short, so difficult to say. I'm at 5 years now on regular treatment, 3.5 years on alternatives, but I wouldn't attribute anything solely to the alternatives. Just a thought.

Nfler profile image
Nflerā€¢ in reply todhccpa

Yes I agree itā€™s still very early but glad psa is going down n not up. I wish I wouldā€™ve given these alternative trx a before removing my prostate but chickened out to what Drs were telling me n didnā€™t know about ivm or amygdalin at the time but it is what it is now. How is your psa responding and have you tried the alternatives solely on their own w no adt..?

dhccpa profile image
dhccpaā€¢ in reply toNfler

No, I'm on ADT. PSA was just under 1 on June 30. It's bounced from 0.6 to 1.4 and down to 0.5 and back up. Yes, I've used quite a few alternatives, including fenben and I'mectin.

Oh thatā€™s great news. My MO said since my psmA scan showed spread only to the LNodes that heā€™s not going to take another psmA till psa hits 4-5. He is surprised n pleased the psa has remained low n stable these last 7 months after getting off adt n stated as long as Itā€™s working letā€™s stay w it, also when I got off adt I took 40-48 mg/every other day for a total of six doses n then the maintenance of 19mg/4x weekā€¦

Thank you irakor, I gradually increased my seed consumption w absolutely no side effects at 3-5 cherry seeds or two plum or peach seeds daily. Not to mention I love the way they taste, kind of a cherry šŸ’ almond..šŸ˜šŸ˜Ž

Yes the cyanide is what works like natural chemo, it kills the pca n leaves the natural cells alone. Also the body seems to absorb the Laetrile better when itā€™s in its natural form of amygdalin. Iā€™ve been slowly increasing my intake n doesnā€™t seem to bother me at all, as soon as I get a headache or diarrhea then Iā€™ll slow down

Nfler profile image
Nfler

Oh great thatā€™s exactly what I desired to figure out the precise dosage. Iā€™m 219, roughly about the same as your husband, so I will work my way up to that level, though the psa is what dropped.19 after 3-5 pits daily. Peach šŸ‘ n apricot pits seem to b 3x the size, so do u know the rec dose for them. I assume 1/3 which would b nine daily or 3/3x dailyā€¦
