ADHD Medication Costs
Is anyone else seeing big swings in medication costs month to month? I try not to stress over the price of medications because I consider them to be necessities. They help my son feel better and as a result, our family time is more peaceful on most days. Instead of stressing over the price, I tell

Need Suggestions for Improving Sleep Behavior
My 8 yo son has ADHD, emphasis on impulsiveness and hyperactivity. For roughly the last 6 months, he has been awaking in the middle of the night and remaining awake for hours. Here's his background: At least 1-2 times per week, he will wake up and remain awake for several hours. Often it's because

Dealing with a 6yo with EXTREME behavior disorders
Our son is 6 and has received numerous diagnosis over the years ranging from ODD, SPD, Severe ADHD and mild Autism. He also struggles with Anxiety. We knew there was something unique about him around his first birthday and he has been in therapy since he was 2, medicated starting at 3. We had him on

Hi I'm new here. How can I help my son?
Hi I'm a single parent of a 15 year old son with ADHD combined type. He is on meds Focalin xr. Some of his behaviors I cannot comprehend or understand his motives or what he gets out of it. We live with my parents who have their own beliefs about how i should discipline my son. At home he spills

Frustrations with my psychiatrist/am I overreacting?
I've had adhd practically my entire life. It got to a debilitating point by the time I was 15 where I had to put my entire life on hold. Long story but I'm 22 now and just getting diagnosed and treated for it, and I don't have a driver's license, never had a job, and had to stop my GED because of it.

Adhansia Side Effects
My son was just prescribed this medication due to unwanted side effects with adderall and focalin (tearful, irritable, loss of appetite). I will try the meds when we are home all day first to monitor, but would love to hear other’s experience with this.

New to the group
Hey y'all. My 3 year old son was diagnosed with ADHD about 6 months ago. We began the generic form of Focalin about 4 months ago, and it seems as though it's no longer working. I'm definitely here for advice and to know that we're not in this alone. It feels as though no one knows what we're going through

We did assessment and it sounds like my daughter has a lot of visual and sensory issues going on. Program supposed to do exercises/tasks to strengthen neural pathways in brain and improve function

Help finding a therapist
Hi! I'm new and kinda lost. I'm hoping someone can please me. We had my son tested last year for ADHD. We received the test results the same week as the pandemic. He is 10 yrs old and in 4th grade. His pediatrician has him on Focalin XR since last summer, which I think helps some days and not others

New here-First Post
My 12 year old is about to switch from prozac to lexapro and I'm worried it wont help or it will potentially make things worse. He's also taking strattera. Doctor might start him on focalin in a few weeks. I'm so overwhelmed having my child on so many medications. He struggles with depression/adhd

Pulling out hair at night
My 6 year old ADHD daughter has been pulling out head hair at night for past 3 weeks. I was hoping it was a phase and would stop. There are golfball sized balls of hair every morning in her bed. She is going bald and I want to cry. She said she wants to stop but can’t. I tried giving her more sensory
