Newly diagnosed
My profile has pertinent info. 63 yrs old. Just diagnosed in April with stage IV, mets in 6 spots on bones. Starting Docetaxel in 10 days. Any suggestions on minimizing side effects. Planning to use ice packs for hands and feet. Anything else? THC products for nausea? Thanks

PSA rising
My husband has aggressive prostate cancer. He was diagnosed 9/20/2019. Gleason score 9. Because he is 93 he is only treated with ADT. His PSA was 100.4 when he started treatment. He had a TURP and found the cancer. My question is can he start having side effects after being on ADT for 2 years.

Moving and recent Drs visits
Well finally hit our time frame, listed our house, and moved. It’s been a stressful few weeks but it’s over and I’m thankful. Just before that we went to UCLA and saw quite a few Drs so heres how it went: Rheumy 1 : thinks Lupus is attacking my right knee. She said something about it being different

Catheter Removed
Hello my fellow brothers and caregivers. I had my Foley remove 2 days ago and man what a relief. The biggest relief was I am able to urinate on my own with a good flow and it's clear. I went to see two other Urologists yesterday and both confirmed that due to my Pca, TURP would be the best treatment

THC O- a 1 person mini experiment
I got my THC O in the mail last Monday and have taken it all week. Here are my personal conclusions. Keep in mind this is just my experience. It may differ for others. DOES IT WORK: Yes. It seems to have the same efficacy, mg to mg, as normal THC. WOULD I RECOMMEND IT: No. Not if you have other options

immunotherapy Provenge and THC
I use a THC vape pen or grass to help me sleep each night, a couple of puffs. Not medical THC. I have seen some studies showing issues with THC and immunotherapy. Because THC reduces inflammation it can work at cross purposes with the immunotherapy. I will be starting provenge in the next couple of

For the THC curious-especially in places where it is illegal
Just this morning I learned of a new product hitting the market. It’s THC O. Because it’s new it is not yet illegal and maybe, hopefully it never will be. I’ve never tried THC O and can’t vouch for it. But I learned about it in an email from Premium Jane, which is a great company, making clean, lab tested

CBD and Palmitoylethanolamide might not go together (or maybe they do)
So 3 out of the last 9 nights I have had minor RBD episodes. That is a lot for me. And it made me think about the fact that I have been on Palmitoylethanolamide for over a month, and then about a week ago I started having CBD also before going to bed. And this made me remember something I read about

Re: urination problems
Dear members, I trust your knowledge more than my dad’s urologist for some reason he only takes 5 mins to evaluate my dad’s health and doesn’t even give me enough time to ask questions. My dad has been using the catheter for around a year, he tried to remove it twice but was in pain and unable to urinate

Running & restless legs
Hello, just wondering what people’s experience of jogging & RLS is? I have been running for about a year & a half. I am 60. Normal BMI. Don’t smoke or drink. I haven’t been running every day. Run about 2-5 km, so not too far. Thinking of upping it to run daily & buying a treadmill to facilitate this.

Prostate cancer after a TURP
I have a good friend in Canada who had a TURP a couple of weeks ago. The material removed during the TURP was biopsied and showed a Gleason 6 (3+3). There was a certain amount of bleeding for a few days after the TURP. He is OK now, but he is worried if the cancer could have spread as a result of the
