Share Your Voice: Shaping the Future of Clinical Trial Searches
Dear Friends, Clinical trial search engines suck. Most are primitive and return hit-or-miss results. None consider your specific concerns, leaving you vulnerable to hours of phone calls and form-filling, only to be rejected or to find that the trial is different than what you first thought. Just so Angry!
I live with anxiety every day. I overthink and worry excessively. I'm no stranger to counseling and strategies. Sometimes that even works. Lately, thpu, I've been riddled with ANGER. I want to lash out at everyone, want to break things and kick the furniture. I wish I could identify the source, the

Things I Like About ADT
I know that no one, like NO ONE, actually wants to be on ADT. There are a lot of downsides to it, and complaints about the fatigue, lack of sex drive, etc. are a common theme on this forum. I'm about a year out now from starting on Zoladex shots (a drug that works in the same way as Lupron), and I

Microdose Miracle Day
Hi there - I have been having the worst tangle of depression/anxiety/grief of my life these past few months, and has peaked these past few weeks since my dog passed. Near unbearable. I know you know what that's like. 💜 Anyway, today very dark. Very much on the bottom of the mood ladder. Lower perhaps

An update on the other Abl Tyrosine Kinase Inhibition Phase 2 trial - PROSEEK by Sun Pharma Advanced Research Company (SPARC)
After almost 5 years, enrollment (N=506) is now complete! "The trial launched in 2019 and is expected to run through 2024." Note that the Study Record on the Clinical Trials website has yet to be updated with this latest information. It still gives a Recruitment Status of "Recruiting" and an Estimated

Severe COPD and cataracts.
Hello Everyone, I had my eyes tested recently and the optician told me I had cataracts. He said, ‘you do know you can’t have the operation?’ Which I didn’t. From what I can find out it’s because I can’t lie ‘supine’ or flat on my back and also because of the increased possibility of coughing. I

Reaction to trabeculectomy
I'm 66 and it was decided that as drops were no longer controlling pressure, I needed to have trabeculectomy in both eyes. Had first op last summer but had a toxic reaction resulting in my eye being closed, severe reaction to light as well as constant irritation. 11 months later eye still not fully open

Morning folks, Well I completed my first cycle of Provenge yesterday and all seems well so far. I also met with MO to review recent genetic testing results and have confirmed a mutation BRiP1 which is associated with autosomal dominant hereditary ovarian cancer, autosomal recessive Fanconia anemia,

Eye Drop Prescription Bottles don’t last 4 weeks
Hi, just wonder if anyone else has a similar problem. I take Brinzolamide twice a day in one eye and Travapost at bedtime. The Brinzolamide only ever lasts me 3 weeks although prescription says it should last for 4 weeks. Maybe because I am more concerned about getting a good dose each application. I

Need a friend
I'm 67 . I'm a mother, grandmother and recently a great grandmother. I love with my boyfriend of 101/2 years. I've suffered from depression and anxiety forever and I'm sick of it. I believe it stems mostly from sexual, verbal and emotional abuse since a child. I'm tired of it all. Tried many antidepressants

What should I do to heal?
Do you ever feel like you're losing yourself? I have been feeling lost for the past few months. I am emotional and I don't know who I am anymore. I look back at the things I would do and how I would act and I'm not that person anymore. A part of me is relieved that I'm not that person anymore but I feel

Pegasys issues
Hi everyone previously I had told you that I was having Sjogrens symptoms while on Pegasys. I stopped it and saw a rheumatologist. She was very dismissive. She told me to just look up my own results on the portal and because she was convinced, without seeing any results that i do not have Sjogrens.

Targinact
I have had RLS for over 20 years and have tried most medications, the latest being Pregabalin, which was good but is now not working so well. I therefore asked my GP if I could try Targinact as I read this is now licensed for RLS. He has agreed and I just need to taper Pregabalin. Can anyone
