I am a huge advocate for clinical trials. I sit on the patient advisory board for my MDC. Here's my 2cents. By participating you are advancing medical knowledge, you can have access to experimental treatments, you may receive personal care and follow ups, you are helping others, and yourself, you can have access to expert care in some situations, but I mostly participate for personal empowerment and a commitment to finding the best possible treatment options and improving my quality of life.

I’m in the Buntanetap trial. I am guessing that the drug is headed for FDA approval. The company just went to public trading for revenue to continue its next open label trial. I believe I’m receiving the drug and not placebo and it is effective

I’m able to do handwriting again, fairly normal right arm swing ( I am affected on the right side), not dragging my right foot when walking, less right hand tremor

The arm swing was the most valuable gain for me on the trial!! I am hoping they will open label extension it in January!!

no kidding. I am anxiously waiting to hear and be enrolled in the open label trial. I think going pubic with the IPO was their step in that direction to get the needed funding

I actually bought a few shares of their stock just to say I have them :P They are LOW right now!! The other hurdle if they do get approved will then be hoping insurance will cover it! Especially knowing how good I felt on it!
