I live in the Netherlands- in Sept. 2017 I started to get trouble with by bowels, and all of a sudden, I had panic attacks, and was convinced I had cancer. This spiraled so fast, that I was lying in fetus position in bed not being able to do anything

Consultant refused to prescribe thyroxine, believes symptoms are caused by low oestrogen (FSH 112.7 iu/L) but TPO abs 365. TSH 3.86. HRT?
Saw consultant endo this morning. Main symptoms are fatigue, lethargy (can't stand or walk for long) and shortness of breath, feeling like I'm suffocating. Had convinced myself that it's was caused by Hashi's but he dismissed this, even though I have a family history of under active thyroid. As my FSH

Hello, I have been struggling with Hashimoto's for the last few years. Anyone had gene test with Blue Horizon?
Has anyone used the Blue Horizon Thyroid genetics testing, and if so could you understand the DIO1 and DIO2 results easily? Their report is detailed including lots of advice on supplements which is good, but I've got two results for each of DIO1 & 2 which appear to contradict each other so I'm none

What to ask at consultation and anyone seen this consultant?
Dear All, I'm seeing a Dr Meeking on Wednesday this week. If anyone has seen him, could they PM me with their experience? Has anyone received good treatment from any endos in the South East? Thank you. From the approved list, there is also an Nhs endo in Winchester. I also would like advice about what

Could you lovely people help me read these lab results
These are my brother's latest results (we both have Hashimoto's). From what I see he definitely needs an increase of medication (he's on L-thyroxin). What about the vitamins and minerals? His B's are on the lowish side, at least the folate is. Iron panel has always been confusing to me so I'm gonna need

Finally started treatment but on low dose
Hi all sorry it’s been a while. I gradually managed to start a phased return back to work! My weight once the op has dropped by 11kg since January 😎 silver linings. Now my GP has finally put me on Levo but only 25mg to start for 6weeks. This was after repeatedly high TPO which was first 79 and now

Hypothyroid and due for second blood test since starting treatment. Apologies for the long post!
I was diagnosed Hypothyroid in October 2017. After feeling quite unwell for some months in 2016 I went to see my doctor, as I was having frequent sudden bowel movements, was feeling exhausted and had tingling and numbness in my hands and feet. My hands were often very itchy too. I was feeling very low

Hashimotos diagnosis - treatment?
Apologies first for longish post. I've been having fertility treatment for last few years and having TSH levels checked and managed using Thyroxin. My results have been all over the place and just recently had TPO checked and diagnosis of Hashimotos. My fertility clinic wants me to see an Endocrinologist

Which blood tests to pay privately for?
I am about to go for another blood test, since the lab refused T3 test last time, I intend to pay privately for this, but I need to know which to ask for. GP can do TSH and T4, but wondering which private test to go for, my choices are: T3 Or FreeT3 Or do I need to spend more money and get all
