So upset after today’s Endo appt
I’m so upset after today’s endocrinologist appointment. So this was me going to yet another endo to try and get to the bottom of all my symptoms and my blood test results. She thinks I’m hyperthyroid as opposed to hypothyroid (despite all my symptoms, which she actually says doesn’t look thyroid related

Thyroid and fertility
Is there anyone here who has good knowledge of thyroid conditions and fertility? (well infertility!). I’m sorry for the long post! I read posts on here all the time so wondered if someone in the know would try and help me. I’m 34 and been underactive for 12 years ish, at the point of being diagnosed

First NDT blood results - wow 😃
Hi everyone 👋🏼 I have my first NDT blood results after 6 weeks on Thyroid-S. 2 grains - 1 grain in the morning. 1 in the evening. Last med taken in the evening(9pm) before the test (9am). I was worried especially about antibodies as know they can get set off by NDT in Hashis. But they remained stable

Changing Medication
I know it's very early days but I've just been taken off Pergolide tablets as they are no longer available and o put on Pramipexole. Pergolide worked brilliantly for me but last night I got no sleep whatsoever and my legs have twitched throughout the day today. Has anyone else experienced this and

Helpful guide to hashimotos
I was trying to understand hashimotos antibodies a bit more, and found this article. It’s a bit of an idiot’s guide to hashimotos, and I thought it might be helpful for others who, like me, wish to get their heads around the condition: https://hashimotoshealing.com/understanding-hashimotos-antibodies

Subclinical hypothyroidism treatment in pregnancy- bad reaction to levothyroxine
I would be very grateful for any advice anyone can provide. I have been advised by specialists in fertility & miscarriage that I should be treated with levothyroxine to obtain a healthy pregnancy. It’s a long convoluted story but this is based on 2 miscarriages, a complicated pregnancy, tsh levels

Hashimotos and side effects from Levothyroxine
Hello, I am currently taking medication for my sub-clinical hypo, which is derived from my Hashimoto's. I was diagnosed 2 years ago, "normal" TSH ( 0.8) and healthy T3, T4 levels however antibody TPO count of 746. I go back and forth with symptoms and have also been told I am simply depressed. I tried

What do I need to ask my GP for full blood test
I was newly diagnosed in January this year with Thyroid peroxidase antibody level 109IU/mL <60.00 IU/mL which I believe means I am Hashimoto's! However my Plasma TSH level was not high enough to be medicated 4.38 mU/L 0.30-4.20mU/L I posted my January blood results previously. I have an appointment

TPO antibodies 430
My GP has just told me that my thyroid is not attacking itself. I was diagnosed with Hashimoto’s around 3 years ago first by a locum GP and then confirmed by endo consultant. Most recent results show TPO 430. My recent TSH of 20.6 and more recently 8.4 May be affecting my ability to think properly

I finally got my primary care physician to write an order for free T3: 1. TSH 2. Free T3 3. Free T4 4. Thyroid peroxidase antibody (TPO) 5. Thyroglobulin antibody I'll be taking the blood tests on Wednesday afternoon. When should my last dose of Synthroid be taken, on Tuesday morning? thanks

Confused by thyroid test results
Hope this doesn't end up being a duplicate post as first attempt didn't work. For a few years I have wondered if I had hypothyroidism. I have many symptoms and so had a private (thriva) test. Results were: TSH 8.07 (>4.3) FT4 16.3 (12-23) FT3 3.41(3.1-6.8) TPO 106 Kiu/l (>34) T4 92.6 (66-181)

MRI shows nothing but could it still be a possibility that I have Central Hypothyroidism; and do I need to take iron supplements?
I recently posted here that my thyroid results were: TSH 0.79 (0.40-4.00); FT4 12.9 (11.5-22.7); FT3 3.4 (2.8-6.5); RT3 .29 (.14-.54); TG less than 32 (less than 40); TPO less than 14 ((less than 34) I was having an MRI for tinnitus and wondered if it would show up any CH. However it was all normal

Newly diagnosed hypothyroidism - questions ...
Hi everyone - I’m hoping for some advice, please! I’m a 58 year old reasonably active, full time working woman. I was prescribed 50 mg levothyroxine sodium in June following blood tests showing TSH 8.82 (0.27 - 4.2), FT4 12.7 (12.0 - 22.0), TPO antibodies 9 = negative, Ferritin 101 (13 - 150) . The tests
