Blood Test Results - Am I under-medicated? Do I need to Change from Mono T4 to T3 Combo or NDT?
I am fatigued and want to sleep every 3-4 hours. I am a Hashimotos sufferer and was diagnosed 4 years ago. I have been on T4 Levo ever since. I have increased from 100 msg to 125 mcg due to increased TSH from 0.5 to 3.2 (range 0.27-4.2) under Endo advice 6 weeks ago. My blood test results 6 weeks ago

TGAB and TPO antibodies - seem to fluctuate!
Hi group, Thanks for taking the time to read this. I recently had results back with out of range TGAB and TSH with normal TPO, but following a re-test, was found to have normal TSH and high TPO (TGAB was not tested this time for some reason). I'm curious as to why my TPO antibodies have gone from fine

Any advice please
I have been taking Pramipexole for a few months now with little or no relief. Previous to this I was taking Pergolide which worked perfectly for many years however now it is unavailable so I'm having to try alternatives. On top of this I've had a knee replacement and when the restless legs start

PA Endo’s response to my most recent labs
Said thyroid labs were good, didnt ask about my symptoms but thats ok. I asked her about my platelets (consistently low but not terribly low) and she said they are low because of my thyroid hormones being off. And my most recent ANA is positive due to my thyroid antibodies even though I have had 3 or

Is this hashimoto's
I have been really struggling for 5-6 months now with such fluctuating body temperatures. It's so draining now as it will instantly change from being too hot to freezing cold. My thyroid tests are always normal except for high tpo antibodies >1000 reference range <35. I just need some help now as I

New, fed up, body failing but found a community here :)
Hi all, I'm brand new here and new to thyroid issues. I have suffered with a neurological condition called idiopathic intracranial hypertension for 12 years. During my last MRI due to a flare up, the docs found white matter lesions, too many for my age and possibly due to something called small vessel

Hi, I was wondering if I may possibly have a mild/ beginning stage of Lupus. The test that I will post below was ordered by a Rheumatologist that I was referred to but after reviewing this and my other labs, he has expressed that he doesn’t feel the need to see me. My platelets have been consistently

Puzzling Results
Let me preface this post by saying I wouldn't recommend anyone to do what I've done. I originally started self medicating with NDT in late 2015. Results gradually improved with suppressed TSH and T3/4 where they should be. After about 18 months, things started to fluctuate despite no change in dosage

Feel like it's not worth being on meds anymore
Fed up. Weight is piling on what seems like daily. Been bleeding heavy including clots for 2 weeks. Legs feel heavy and muscles burn when I walk on flat. Memory like a sieve. Head foggy. Sleep disturbed. Gone a trouser size up in 3 weeks. Fatigued. Feeling rubbish. Feel like stopping 75mg levothyroxine

Analysis of the protective effects of γ-aminobutyric acid during fluoride-induced hypothyroidism in male Kunming mice
Every so often, I just happen upon something that really makes me sit up. This is one such. (Probably says more about how little I know than anything.) Although very interesting, I'd be very wary of going out and buying foods that are purportedly high in GABA. Aside from anything else, they are expensive

TSI testing, who offers this?
I would like to have my TSI checked to see if I have Graves. I am hyperthyroid but unsure of the cause. My GP wont do this nor will the endocrinologist I am due to see next month (her reason was my TPO antibodies were ok). I have looked at all the private options on ThyroidUK and none offers this particular

Test Results
Hi I had an NHS blood test a few months ago due to fatigue, muscle/joint pain and insomnia. My TSH was 4.6 but I was told all was normal I asked for a T3 test but was refused. Not feeling better I’ve had a private test. I had assumed T3 would be low, but it looks normal. In fact all looks normal, apart

I wish I hadn’t been referred to an endocrinologist 😒
Just seen an endocrinologist for the first time. I asked the registrar to treat me according to my symptoms rather than my TSH level and he had to think about it for a while before saying I suppose we could consider that. When I said I am aiming to have a TSH around 1 with FT3 & FT4 in the upper
