Are my TPO & TG results ok?
Hi everyone, My TPO and TG results look good to me (below 60) but then they have added the “comment”. My TSH, T4 and T3 were all fine and the comment was “euthyroid levels”. I have no thyroid diagnoses but got it checked out due to how I have been feeling lately and some issues I’ve had for several

How to proceed?
Around 2017 the debilitating hypo symptoms started up. LDL cholesterol was flagged high and my morning blood fasting glucose started to rise by ten points (still within range), while terribly hyper/hypoglycemic all day. Before 2017 I recall living and functioning normally but looking back now I remember

I posted on here after my last set of test results which showed high TSH and high TPO antibodies ... after speaking with my doctor, who referred me to a rheumatologist, endocrinologist and for an ultrasound scan of my thyroid, she then said she couldn’t prescribe me anything as my test was done

Do I have hashimotos just because I have high TPO antibodies?
I had some medichecks tests done last year and although my TSH was 1.7 and t4, t3 etc were all within range my thyroid peroxidase antibodies were 88 ( elevated) I had the rests all redone this year and my tsh is now 2.5 and my antibodies are 155 but again t4, t3 all within range. I know that 20% of

New here, Help with test results please
Hi, Read lots of posts but this is my first time posting. Brief history, I am 46 years old and was first diagnosed hypothyroid and B12 deficient in 2014 when my periods were reversed (heavy bleeding 28 days a month, not bleeding 4 days). Having a coil fitted stopped this but I know if it was removed

Further bloods advice please?
Have already had some great advice here - just a couple of points I’m struggling with and thought I’d post in case anyone can help. Brief background - no official diagnosis or meds. Symptoms ongoing roughly 1 year. Two thyroid nodules classified as non suspicious, cytology normal. Saw private endo in

Blood results after starting Levo. advice please
Just had my first blood test after starting Levo back in January. (Last couple of years my vit D and B 12 was low, TSH was borderline at 4.9, and cholesterol was increasing. This January I was prescribed Levo 50. I discovered this site upped my vit D to 2000 and added a general vit B supplement. I have

Please help me figure my new results out.
Hi everyone, I hope you are all doing as well as can be expected under the current circumstances. I used to feel fine on my 60 mg of Armour Thyroid (NDT), but these last few weeks I have been feeling pretty awful and exhausted a lot, no energy, can't be bothered with my work. My iron is very low, (I'm

Thyroid nodules and high TPO
Hi, I’ve been going through a lot this year and I still don’t know if I blame my liver or my thyroid or both. My liver came back as fatty and mildly enlarged in May but with a normal variation called Riedel’s lobe. My enzymes were all fine but just a tiny bit higher than the normal by like 3 points.

Had my thyroid checked in Cyprus. Fed up with 'out of range' results being ignored by my GP
As many people feel I am sure I was reluctant to speak to my GP about my blood results and descriptions of how I felt. I recently visited Cyprus and after more 'woozy' feelings booked in for blood tests. The Dr wasn't an endocrinologist but organised my tests. The TSH T3 T4 looked fine. The Dr looked

Sweet's syndrome during induction chemotherapy for acute myeloid leukemia – case report and mini review.
In 15-20% of cases, Sweet's syndrome (SS) develops secondary to cancer, the blood cancer, acute myeloid leukaemia (AML), being the commonest. Out of the total number of malignancy-associated cases, 85% have blood cancer. This is a case of a 47-year-old woman who developed skin lesions that appeared

Updates rather promising
I think I may finally be moving forward with potentially getting closer to figuring out the main issue or one of them. Got the genetics test results back but only one of the 81 genes showed up and the variant was VGUS: IKBKAP VGUS, p. L 1139. When you look this gene up, one disease shows up called Familial
