Blood test result " weakly positive antibodies"
T4 (12.0 - 22.0) 22.2 ..Previously 24.5 T3 (3.1 - 6.8) 7.2 Previously 7.8 TSH <0.05 (The same) TPO Negative TrAB 1.78 (<1.74) I am just confused on the term "weakly positive" TPO is negative, and the letter says if not positive I'd be sent for an ultrasound. But does "weakly positive" for TSH receptor

Blood test results 'normal' range
Can anyone comment on my recent test results... TSH 2.14 (0.27 - 4.2) T3 4.3 (3.1 - 6.8) Free T4 12.4 (12 - 22) TPO 0.18 (0 - 60 = negative) TSH receptor antibody < 1.5 (0 - 3) Looking online it seems I have Graves and hypothyroidism?? I feel best when my TSH is around 0.5. To me the results show

Low Selenium and low fT3
This study https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/33112790/ shows that low selenium is associated with reduced fT3 and increased TPO antibodies. We know this already but the interesting feature is that TSH seemed to be unaffected in this cohort. Since selenium deficiency reduces deiodinase, especially type

Thyroglobulin levels & TgAB
Hi all, I was wondering if there is a link between thyroglobulin levels and TgAB? I went hyperthyroid in Jul20 but no official cause was found and I was told. Was a mild thyroiditis. My thyroid levels have since returned to within range on their own. At the time my TgAB went high, 115 (0-115) first

New here: Help with interpreting results pls
Hi everyone, I'm new here and I am wondering if anyone could help me interpret my latest results. I had a test done with Thriva earlier this week and GP is unwilling to help me. I saw a private endocrinologist who dismissed my symptoms in October and November, saying that I'm not ill enough to be treated

Bloods Advice please - new and feelimg wobbly
Hi all, I'm having a bit of a hard time mentally and seem to have lots of little niggling symptoms that I'm not sure are related to the thyroid or are stress/anxiety related. Briefly, I gave birth last March, noticed a lump on my neck in the Spring and had a scan and biopsy. Scan showed a 'patchy' thyroid

I finally got a GP to listen
I thought I would share this as I finally had success at getting a GP to listen to me. What helped to convince them was: 1. A ticked list of symptoms using the Thyroid UK list https://thyroiduk.org/wp-content/uploads/2017/06/Signs-and-Symptoms-of-Hypothyroidism-V1.1-.doc.pdf 2. An excel file with my

Thyroid testing
Hi everyone, I’m new to this group and to having thyroid problems. I discovered high antibodies in a blood test 6 months ago while investigating what turned out to be premenstrual dysphoric disorder. I have just tested again and they are still high, and my hair has quite drastically started thinning

TSH levo and IVF results need advice
Hello, i got my blood test results today regarding my thyroid. Any advice would be appreciated as i am very confused with what i should do. I was put on levothyroxine 50 mcg and then during oestrogen stimulation on 75 mcg due to high TSH 2.7 mIU/L (prior to stimulation) during my IVF. My TSH results

Hypo symptoms despite blood test that indicates I could be hyperthyroid
Hi there, I recently received some blood test results that I wanted some advice on interpreting, I am currently on 11/4 grains of armour thyroid, and still have debilitating fatigue and confusion, I really just wanted to know why this could still be the case. Any advice would be massively appreciated

Is this right??
Hello everyone! I am diagnosed with Hashimoto’s (elevated TPO antibody reading of varying levels up to 1500 at one point). However I have never been offered treatment as my TSH and Free Ts have largely remained within the acceptable NHS ranges despite remaining symptomatic for the past 10 years or more

Normal TPO and high TgAb and pregnancy
Hey everyone! What does that mean when your TPO is within range but your TgAb are seriously elevated? I have just found out I am pregnant and am still waiting on my thyroid panel from the GP but also went for the Medichecks full thyroid check. I know what to do with my levothyroxine but the antibodies

How do I get my consultant to agree to increase my T4 dosage?
After a seven years long journey and the fight of my life I am on Levothyroxine, 125 mcg, the brand being NorthStar. I am so much better and have much more energy. My results from Dec '20 were FT4 17.8 and TSH 0.09. Results from Nov '19 were FT4 19.3, TSH 0.75 and FT3 4.8. It wasn't until I had private

Where have my ABs gone?
Big shock today and I need help. Please excuse the long posting. 23 years ago I was diagnosed with Hyperthyroidism - after 3 years of treatment my thyroid levels were normal. Then I started to feel very unwell and put on 14 kilos in 18 months and I was diagnosed with Hypothyroidism and, after analysis

Appointment as aspected 😢
As expected, I got nowhere. Consultant apologised and said he knows it’s frustrating but as results are in range, he can’t do anything. He said normal range is the average range of the normal population and I’m in that range for everything so as an endocrinologist, he can’t do anymore. Said the people
