add THC tincture to CBD Salve
Several drops of THC sold as under the tongue tincture mixed thoroughly with Topical CBD salves seems to activate the CBD. Rubbing small amounts of the mix on affected areas joints, limb muscles etc works quickly to reduce pain and inflammation. I never measured the levels of these and so I do not

Trying to give docs the benefit of the doubt….
Like me, so many of us with
CKD
3 weren’t told of their
CKD
, the diagnosis was minimized, or counseling/resources/treatment strategies weren’t provided. Why is this such a frequent occurrence?

Medication and Memory
I was diagnosed with AFib in July and my daily medication is 12-5 Bisoprolol, as well as Digoxin, Rivaroxaban and Perindopril. I’ve always had a brilliant memory but have recently become concerned that I cannot retain information for very long at all. I also seem to get spurts of random, fleeting and

Kidney Cyst Pain
I was informed in January 2023 that I have Stage 4
CKD
(GFR of 28) - unfortunately I had NEVER been told that I'd been in Stage 3a an 3b
CKD
for the previous 10 years! After a ultrasound and MRI I was informed I have a 3.5 cm cyst IN my right kidney (= the cyst is taking up 33% of that kidney).

The CBD gummies hype - No worthwhile evidence that it alleviates...

I don't know the details but I suspect it was delivered to him in a more sophisticated way than a lump of what looks like

Low BP in afib and covid
After all the years I have finally caught COVID. Had a headache for a couple of days which has gone now. Not much coughing, just feel a bit achy and weak.Unfortunately, it's sent me into an afib episode although my heart rate is staying below 100bpm in fact it's hovering around 70 to 80bpm. I was concerned

Healthy and high LPA
Hello 55 female, post meno, non smoker, low BMI and no other health issues but recent Afib issues (last year).I also have a small benign tumour and some white matter around it that has increased slightly, which MRI indicates is indicative of chronic microvascular disease. I am waiting for an ablation

Hi all, My best wishes for a happy and healthier New Year to all you amazing and insperational people on this group! :) I wanted to ask if anybody else might have had the same issues that I am having. I have ET Jak2, now with PV as well. I took Interferon for the very first time a few months ago and

Doctor has scared me!
My question is with Diabetic
CKD
stage 3b is it common to have that happen. He does not know much and just can't refer me further at stage 3b as all the specialists are booked solid. I am very nervous of this. I am 65. Thanks for any shared information.👍

Bisoprolol again!
following my last post I have now stopped Bisoprolol. I have noticed my heart rate increase from around 67 to 74 (normal range). what I am noticing is that I get palpitations but my heart rate is within the normal range - does anyone have experience of this? It isn’t overly fast but just pounding

Contrast echocardiogram booked
Hi there, My appointment has finally come through after a 6 months wait. Which I don't mind because I was told this at the beginning, so expectations have been met. Is there anyone out there that has had one? I know it's like an 3cho and they inject a contrast. They are looking for a whole in my heart

Overwhelming thoughts of death/dying
Hello, I really need some good reassurance. Today is the new year and since yesterday, I've had a feeling that I am going to die soon. I have NO reason to believe this health wise, but I've had multiple attacks about it today and I've cried a few times too. I have a 3 year old little boy I'm terrified

new on Flecainide
My afib started 11 years ago with one episode and then went silent for nearly six years . So for the first six years I was on low dose diltiazem and one standard aspirin. for the last four years I was put on Multaq and Eliquis. Multaq kept me in NSR for about a year and then progressively became ineffective

Flying whilst having an episode of AF
Morning This is my first post on this forum but I have found it really resssuring. I just wondered whether people had been on a flight whilst having an episode of AF? I am paroxysmal at the moment but have found that my episodes are lasting at least 2 days and then only getting 1 day respite before
