Amlodipine and calcium
Hi, I'm on amlodipine for high blood pressure, have been since 2016. I was diagnosed with osteopenia T score -1.1, in 2021 and put on calcium and vitamin D. I also take Vitamin K2 to help with the calcium absorption. I recently had an annual blood pressure review and although it's not gone up, it's still

I'm struggling with pain from previous injuries (torn rotator cuff, lumbar back, sciatica)and PTSD diagnosed in 2020.My Hepatologist has said that I can take 2G of paracetamol in 24hrs. This does not sort the pain. I take 2 Cocodamol (8/500) at night (not every night) only as my fatigue during the day

Impaired left ventricular relaxation /normal filling pressures-whatever that means
So I had an echo yesterday ordered by my cardiologist after I went to see him to ask for propranolol because my nurse navigator from my EP's office is weird about prescribing propranolol. I had an ablation in April. My cardiologist wants to rule out pulmonary vein stenosis following the ablation because

Thank you all!
Firstly I would like to thank all of you who were so kind and answered my fears about my upcoming ablation. I'm so much happier about it now😊 Especially since I just came out of another tiring 28 hour episode! Sorry to ask yet another question but I was wondering if amiodarone was routinely prescribed

Hair loss is Bisoprolol or Apixaban? the cause
Hi all, My hair has really started to fall out lately, I’m on 1.25 Bisoprolol and 5mg Apixaban x2. I’ve tried to do a bit of research but found it a bit contradictory, some saying it’s either one or the other some saying both tablets. My cardiologist has in the past offered me Nebivolol and I’m wondering

Amiodarone
Hi. After Bisoprolol and Flecainide stopped working I was prescribed Amiodarone last September initially on a loading dose of 3 x 200. This was reduced to 1 x 200 then raised to 2 x 200 when lower dose failed. My question is: do people on Amiodarone have regular blood checks? My blood was tested after

Back in permanent AF
Hi,I have been in sinus rhythm for 3 years after an ablation at Barts and been feeling fit and healthy. 3 weeks ago I woke up and knew straight away I had gone back in to AF, this has now been confirmed after a couple of ECG's at the hospital. I feel very symptomatic at the moment with lots of palpitations

Nearly there…
Morning all I am determined to come off the dreaded pred. and now down to 1mg, hurrah! Although I hurt sometimes, it is not as it was and I can live with it. Are there any tips for alternatives for inflammation? Someone said CBD oil so I bought some Cannery and not sure if it does anything, possibly

Tilt Table Test
Well, on Thursday I had a Tilt Table test and it was positive. My blood pressure rose to 185/110 before taking a nosedive to 80/54 with me on the verge of passing out. My nurse then stopped the test and reclined the table. I am pretty certain that I did not escape Sjogrens with my year on Pegasys. I
