Pramipexole update
After eight weeks of cutting back, I have finally done three nights without any pramipexole. Immediately I suffered a return to restless legs, but taking some CBD gummies has helped. Mentally, I feel much better knowing that I am no longer dependent on the tablets. Physically, I feel weird but I suppose

RLS and insomnia
so I’ve never found relief from RL despite meds, iron infusion and numerous other interventions including CBD . I take 1800 mg of Gabapentin daily( 800 early evening and 1600 at night) plus Dilaudid 2 mg at night and Trazadone 100 mg at night. I continue to be up at least twice as they over ride whatever

Bone Pain!
I'm experiencing some bone pain, again, on the upper wing of one of my hips. I'm waiting to get radiation--simulation early next week! In the mean time, I'm looking for a way to put the fire out enough for it to be less distracting. I'm on 4g of Acetaminophen daily and weaning off Oxycodone (down to

Post MI C25k Week 2 Run 1 ✅
So I was not intending to post every one of the re runs but as I'm sat here with a mug of tea well why not 😊To be honest I was intending to go a little earlier but somehow ended up in a bubble bath 🤣 My calves were aching a little from yesterday's 12657 steps walking ! So a nice relaxing bath before

Managing PVCs
Hi Three years ago I had an ablation for my long standing PAF. Touch wood, I’ve not had a full blown episode since. However over the last 12 months I have been getting an increasing amount of PVC episodes. These often last for two to three days and are really debilitating. Sleep is almost impossible

Adizem Slow Release and Flecainide
Does anyone take these 2 drugs for blood pressure and Afib? I was on one 50mg Flecainide at night but due to increased episodes my dose has been increased by my Consultant to 50g morning and night with a 100mg pip. He also prescribed me 120mg Adizem slow release which I have been taking in the morning

Experiencing higher sleeping HRV after stopping Flecainide
I had a cryoboalloon ablation the end of January and was kept on 2x 50mg Flecainide during the blanking period. I had no AF during the blanking period and wore a Zio patch for 7 days just before the 3 months was over. At the appointment the APRN said my Zio came back clean, with no AF, very few ectopic

Pseudomonas Help!
I am going through a perfect storm with Pseudo, RA, AS and a leaking heart valve. This has reduced me to considerable breathlessness, fatigue, palpitations and disability. Has anyone had any treatment for pseudo? I cannot take floxacins as they exacerbate the AS and my lung specialist has never

Insomnia
Curious, what is the biggest culprit causing chronic insomnia in my diet Lupron, Zytiga, or Prednisone No matter what time I go to sleep 9,10, or 11. I wake at 3 o'clock every morning. Might be able to grab another hour sometimes. Tried Magnesium L-Threonate, Melatonin, Chamomile tea. Dr gave Trazodone

Anyone with diagnosed dysautonomia as well as scleroderma?
Dysautonomisa seems to be recognised in North America as common in scleroderma, but not in UK. My symptoms of dizziness and breathlessness with low blood pressure seem to fit, and have been called hyperadrenergic. Is this familiar to anyone ?

Palpitations
I know about the risks of stroke when you have Afib, and I take Warfarin, but just out of interest, do ordinary palpitations, like PVCs and SVEs also present a risk ? Annie

Afib medications
I was diagnosed about half a year ago with Afib. I am trying to understand the medicines and their side effects better. I am currently on Amiodarone 200 mg and Metoprolol 50mg and have many unpleasant side effects. Need to get off these meds.

Radiation v cryosurgery
I had an interesting conversation with my research doctor today. We were discussing the long term effects of radiation to the prostate. He told me since that since the effects of radiation are so long lasting, he would always recommend cryosurgery, especially for younger men. He said he has had great
