Radiation v cryosurgery

I had an interesting conversation with my research doctor today. We were discussing the long term effects of radiation to the prostate. He told me since that since the effects of radiation are so long lasting, he would always recommend cryosurgery, especially for younger men. He said he has had great success with cryosurgery and even if it is not completely successful, it can give a younger patient years of postponing radiation and its long term effects of incontinence, etc.

Just some information for you younger brothers out there considering your succession of your treatments.

I heard cryo was the best back in 2002 but it was a bit too new....(goes good with chocolate chip ice cream (two scoops))......
