Is Losartan good or bad for kidneys?
CKD
stage 3a or 3b, my eGFR tends to vary. Anyway, I just read the posts about how losartan can be bad for creatinine/eGFR and wonder what other people taking ARBs have experienced. (My BP varies but is usually less than 130/80). Thanks.

The down side is with the execption of the year you reach medicre age you need to be underwritten and if you have any health issues like
CKD
you may be denied. So it behoves you to look into this the year you are eligible.

Why watermelon is good for us
Only 6.8% of U.S. adults have optimal cardiometabolic health, while an estimated 47 million have cardiometabolic disorders Watermelon contains L-citrulline and L-arginine, which are nitric oxide (NO) precursors; NO helps relax blood vessels and widen arteriesConsuming watermelon juice attenuates reductions

Mis-Information on Internet. BE CAREFUL
I have had afib for 30+ years now and I should know better. I googled afib and dark chocolate which I know is a NO_NO as it has always caused me to go into afib, but I was reading a study from a supposed Dr. who said dark chocolate can help prevent afib episodes. I knew this to be not true but guess

Stage 3 CKD in early 40s
I just got diagnosed with stage 3
CKD
early this year. It was (and is still) quite a shock as there were no indications in previous years. I have HBP, but it is under control. My wife just got pregnant with our first child.

Anyone tried CBD Oil
Hi I have had IBS for over 30yrs. Some of it is food related but also Anxiety related. I am always looking for something that may help. I take Symprove probiotic which does help a bit. Lately I have been looking in to CBD oil after seeing is advertised on TV. It seems to help with pain and anxiety

Does biopsy help? Appreciate any feedback or personal experience.
As of now its
CKD
with unknown origin. Nephrologist suggested biopsy. I have an idea of what it is but trying to get some feedback from all of you. Dr. says it will help pinpointing the root cause though I may or may not have new medications if they found out root clinical cause.

Oxycodone, RLS
Morning everyone, another sleepless night. Where do we go from here? Now taking Oxycodone - 5mg in morning, 10mg at 9pm and another 5mg about 3am as well as 1400mg Gabapentin spread over evening. Nothing working. Cannot get Buprenorphine in our area because it is on red list. Really feel like we have
