Still here
Hi everyone, I haven't been on in a while, there was a big delay in getting my T3, postal service on strike, but thankfully it arrived. I won't received them until Christmas, my friend is coming to me for Christmas and is bringing them down to me when he comes. So I will be starting my T3 then. I know

Hi! Just got my blood work back, normal range T3 and T4 but bdl for TSH. Feeling a little sluggish and tired, no tolerance to COLD, getting sick a lot and consistently gaining weight over the past 4 months. Just some background, I got my thyroid removed 2 years ago due to graves disease. I've been

hi I posted the other week about having a tsh of 0.008 a few weeks ago but it was an at home test. I’ve had them repeated through the doctors and these were the results: Tsh 0.001 (0.49-5.2) Free t4 11.4 (11.5-22.7) Free t3 5.6 (3.5-6.5) It doesn’t make sense to be hyper while my t4 is low. I’ve

Diarrhoea and thyroid hormones
Not a great topic but needs must! I'm under investigation for gastro issues, am waiting for a referral to a consultant hopefully soon. I may have an inflammatory bowel disease or (I really hope not) bowel cancer - or something else, although infection ruled out. I have very high calprotectin levels

Starting on Armour
Starting on Armour for first time tomorrow, I have been told to take 1/2 grain at 8am and 1/4 grain at 3pm. According to the Thyroid Pharmacists conversion table that is equivalent to 75 levo, I am currently only on 50 levo which I have been told to stop while I trial the Armour. I tried 75 levo 3

Need advice about T3 levels
Hi, I have had some tests recently which included thyroid levels and my free T3 levels are 3.1 which appears to me, to be right on the borderline of normal. The free T4 and the TSH are fine by the look of them. Im just wondering if that T3 level is a bit low. I dont have any symptoms I would describe

I’m sorry if this information is readily available on Q and A but I have been a headless chicken since being told I had an enlarged pituitary gland three weeks ago. So I am turning to my lovely caring supportive informed friends on this forum for information I can understand. The Endocrinologist has

Good News
Hello Lovely Members So I just had my dreaded Endo appointment at Royal Berkshire Hospital and the Endo prescribed me T3 but wanted me to add in 50mcg of Levo as my TSH is so suppressed and my T4 levels are non-existent. I agreed to try. I think this Endo is not on our list so his name is Dr ([i]name

thyroid results
hi there please can someone help me understand my results from a recent thyroid function test: tSH levels were 4.63 mu/L which indicates it’s high Thyroxine levels were 13.3 pmol/L and it’s saying that’s normal Triiodothyronine levels 4.4pmol/L levels normal The indication is that I don’t need treatment

Dr declining Levo increase
I was diagnosed with autoimmune hypothyroidism last August. Currently on 75mcg levothyroxine. Symptoms are better but not gone as much as I’d hoped so requested an increase via letter as couldn’t get appt. They then phoned me for a telephone appt but said as numbers are in range they won’t agree to

Questions about TSH and advice on results over the past year much appreciated
Hi everybody, I've posted several times lately and I just wanted to ask for advice on thyroid related issues. I had COVID 3 times from June 22 - Jan 23 and was symptomatic each time. I did have a diagnosis of Fibromyalgia in 2018 but had been feeling a lot better in 2020 until I got COVID. Above

Are these results okay?
Hi,I have been having overwhelming fatigue resulting in me needing to sleep during the day most days, which is most unlike me. I have also been having heavy periods every 3 weeks, sometimes even less, last cycle was 19 days. Terrible brain fog and inability to concentrate. GP said it could be thyroid

MY ARTICLE POSTED IN DEVON AND PLYMOUTH LIFE ON SUNDAY 3RD DECEMBER 2023
Hiya Eventually Plymouth Live agreed to post my story. Sadly they wouldnt put in about the T3 debacle unless I could find an NHS Professional who would prepared to be interviewed by them on this subject. They have said they will do an update if I can find one, so if there is anybody here who would be

Waiting for order?
Hi all. I placed an order for T3 10 weeks ago at my usual source. Paid by PayPal as usual but have been chasing them via email as I've not received them. I've just received an email saying they've had 'hard damage ' to their website and Facebook page and all their communications were lost. I assume they

T3 help
Hi, I have been on T3 only for a few years now and although I don't get it on the NHS, my endocrinologist supports me taking it and tells me that I can source it cheaper than they can, so to just crack on. My Doctors also let me get on with it. They test me and give advice, but as always, they do not

Getting a thyroidectomy soon, what to expect?
Hi, recently diagnosed with a tumour in my thyroid, so team at hospital will be removing the whole thing soon. I am overwhelmed with all this stuff I've been reading here about T4/T3, vitamins, calcium etc. I thought I just had to take a tablet every day, dosage might be adjusted if necessary, but that
