Taking Hydrocortisone with NDT - Endo suggesting it’s the final option
Currently taking 10mg Hydrocortisone with 3 grains Armour Thyroid. I tried Levothyroxine, Levothyroxine with Liothyronine and finally NDT and always managed to initially get some respite from symptoms on a dose increase but this never lasted longer than a week even when FT3 levels were at the top of

Who else has adrenal insufficiency and MS?

Does a Malar Rash, muscle pain & tiredness make Lupus???
Hi, I have a rash - a VERY itchy, painful, raw, stinging, burning rash. I've got it above my right eye (inner side) under it and - without any visible signs - on my cheekbones and under my chin and on my collar bone. I am concerned that though this rash FEELS like Rosacea it is actually Lupus. And although

Foreskin Redness / Irritation - Wash Daily - Some Days Better than Others
Hi Guys, I'm a 28 year old uncircumcised male that has been having some redness and irritation issues with my foreskin. I've seen a dermatologist who prescribed me with hydrocortisone, and while that does seem to help, I don't think becoming dependent on it is a good idea. I've used other hydration

Post attack advice please
Hi all So Tuesday i ended up going to a+e on blues and twos from my GP surgey. This is the first time it's happened. I know I grumbled about the asthma care I've received from my surgery but to be fair to them, they were brilliant. I had been struggling for a few days and using my ventolin A LOT.

Possible reaction to Cabinmazole or Vitiligo?
Hello -- I was diagnosed with an overactive thyroid on 1 July. Since then I have been on 40mg Carbinmazole and beta blockers. A week into taking the meds I noticed tiny (3mm diameter) white spots appearing on my arms, and legs. Some have a tiny red pinprick mark in the middle, others are around freckles

Best supplement(s) for adrenal fatigue?
I have seen many posts here about adrenal fatigue and lots of suggestions as how to heal it. Quite a few members recommend Nutri Adrenal Extra. It's quite cheap compared to many other similar products, and it seems some homeopaths/naturopaths recommend it. However, online reviews are mixed. Some have

Short synacthen test
I had this test back in April On 5mg. Only got report back today (3 months later) and need some advice please. (Pmr/GCA 4yrs) My baseline was 343 but only rose to 383 (1/2hr & 1hr). Consultants ( rheumatology) letter to doc says to take me off steroids and put on hydrocortisone. Is this usual. Nervous

Skin Irritation
A friend of mine is a fellow lung cancer patient who has small cell lung cancer and is currently on carboplatin chemotherapy. She has developed a really irritating itch just on her thigh. She wonders whether this is a side effect of her treatment and what may help with it. She has tried steroids, Eurax

Not been on for a while, along with RA have now been diagnosed with Addison's, am just getting my head around that, am now on Filtgonib (trial drug) which works well for joints, however I now have to take high doses of Hydrocortisone because my body is only producing tiny amounts of natural steroid,

My 19 year old son was just diagnosed with primary Addisons disease. The only symptoms he has are looking tanned and lost 10 pounds. His Am cortisol levels were very low. His Acth leves very high and very high antibodies. Otherwise he is feeling fine. (Possibly slightly fatigued, but nothing terrible
