I was referred here from a fb group. I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism last year, I also have low adrenals. I assume those work together? I am wondering which doctor to choose next or just go it alone? I have had insomnia for about 12 years now. It gets especially bad around my monthly menses. I

Could my hip pain be something to do with PA?
I was diagnosed with PA last March. I've had hip pain for about 3 years but it is getting a lot worse since last year. Pain killers don't work and the exercises physio give me only make the pain worse. I went to see a chiropractor yesterday and he was a bit baffled because I'm very flexible so he doesn't

Long lasting headache
Hi, I'm new to this group prompted by a headache I've now had for around 2 weeks. It's not severe but constant. Because I'm on warfarin I can only have paracetamol or cocodamol. I avoid the latter. I've tried online yoga and a support pillow but still hasn't shifted. I get neck and shoulder aches so

Hi, I’m hoping someone can help me. I’m 27 and I have been battling many symptoms since I was about 18 years old. Most of my symptoms have been psychiatric (OCD, anxiety, phobia) but I have also had unexplainable skin rashes on my knuckles and elbows that spontaneously happen, a fainting episode, constipation

Does anyone else suffer from chronic tension headaches?
Nothing will stop it, I've tried massage, yoga,
chiropractic
adjustments, the works. I came to the conclusion that the muscle spasms were being caused by histamine overload and a low histamine/low fodmap diet has helped the problem, but not solved it.

Muscle spasticity and FND
Does anyone have any experience of episodic spasticity in their legs? I've been diagnosed with FND but I'm not convinced as it was diagnosed after a ten minute phone conversation and a video I sent in of my gait. I've had an MRI of my head and cervical spine which were normal. However, the rest of my

PRF for shoulder pain at night?
Hi all, I'm suffering from a shoulder problem since about 2,5 years. I have asked my GP, a rheumatologist, internist and finally a orthopedic doctor about it. They all say it is frozen shoulder. I followed several physiotherapies, and had chiropractor treatment but with no result. It started 2,5 years

Possible GCA/PMR no help from Doctors
Hello, I wrote here about a month ago but unfortunately am still experiencing symptoms without any official diagnosis. I've been to the Emergency Room, a Primary Care Doctor, and was then referred to a Neurologist. All 3 of them dismissed the possibility of Temporal Arteritis/Giant Cell Arteritis

How bad does it have to get?
Hi everyone, My haematology appointment for yesterday was cancelled but on Monday I went ahead and did my blood tests, including an extra one for my GP. Last week I joined the Patients' Portal for my hospital and was able to get my results online today. Haem is down to 83 and platelets up to 620 -

Whats Happening to my Neck?
Ive been at a loss to any answers from neuros, specialists or gp and have found the best relief and treatment through
chiropractic
. Although, the issue in my neck has still flared since i started treatment a couple months back. My chiro is not sure at this point either.

Long awaited appointment cancelled
My physio told me he was referring me back to my haematology department (as they seem to be in charge of my care) because (he says) my compression fractures are due to the blood cancer. I have been in pain for five months and now will have to wait another month due to my appointment on 9th being cancelled

Is there anyone who has undergone chiropractic treatment for back pain?
When we did an online search to find an alternate solution, we found this
chiropractic
centre that does
chiropractic
treatment https://www.oakvillechiropractic.com/
chiropractic
-centre-burlington . After going through the details, we felt that we should take a second opinion.

Slightly elevated bone fractionated alkaline phosphatase with decrease PSA and steady calcium levels.. bone metastases or from recent fall?
Good morning! It's been a while since I've asked a question here because (thank the good Lord) things have been pretty steady and good on my dad's end! So, I've been enjoying the ride! However, that ride has hit a couple of speed bumps and I'm wondering if someone could give me some insight? So, my

Can you have Polymyalgia with normal CRP and ESR?
My GP says my bilateral shoulder and hip pain cannot be polymyalgia because my blood tests are normal. My pain started in the last 6 weeks. Worse in the morning. I am 80, northern European and Swedish descent. I also have other autoimmune diseases: celiac, PCOS and they run in my family: Crohn's,
