RLS cured

I suffered with RSL for years. I was prescribed Ropinrol and was up to the max dose but to no effect. I decided to come off them and suffered awful withdrawal symptoms. I managed to be free of them and one day was driving behind a bus when I saw an advert for a chiropractor. I decided to go for it. The long and the short of it is I’m now fixed! No more restless legs, I sleep all night and can even go to the cinema. It’s cost a few quid but I now only go once a month for a maintenance session. RLS was a result of trapped nerves in my spine. I urge anyone to give it a try. It’s the best feeling ever to wake up refreshed. Good luck all!!

Thanks for your post I’ll have to try a chiropractor.

Just note that if your RLS is NOT due to a trapped spinal nerve then seeing a chiropractor may be a waste of money.

A chiropractor can treat a trapped nerve, but not idiopathic RLS.

Also if you have secondary RLS due to any other underlying condition e.g. anaemia then it's advisable to have the anaemia treated.

Be aware that RLS occurs for many reasons and there is therefore no one remedy that works for everyone.

Thanks for sharing this.

If your RLS was due to a trapped nerve in your spine then a chiropractor, or an osteopath can relieve it. This is great.

Unfortunately, just to point out that for the majority of members who suffer idiopathic RLS or secondary RLS due to something other than a trapped nerve seeing a chiropractor may be of little or no value.

If you had a trapped nerve in your spine you would have had symptoms of that, which are not the same as RLS. It would be very unusual if you didn't.

RLS is more often associated with Peripheral Neuropathy.

I'm so happy happy for you. I think I will give it a try. I have sciatica and degenerate disc in my spine and hip. I think that's causing my rls. Thank you for sharing your experience.
