I have had chronic lower back pain for over 5 months now...and can hardly walk up steps or bend down to pick something up. I saw a chiropractor 3 times with no relief. Excedrin taken in the early afternoon is my only relief.
Anyone else experiencing similar?

Sewster, I see you are new to our site and were "recently" diagnosed with CLL, so Welcome to you!.
You say you have seen a chiropractor but are not finding the treatment helpful?
Have you had a check up with your PC or GP--not sure in what country you are. If there has not been any scan done to diagnose your situation, you may be spending money and time in the wrong place (and I have had good results with a chiropractor, so it isn't that I don't think you can get results from chiropractors).
Kidneys can be a source of low back pain also.
Best wishes with getting this sorted. Living with pain is not fun, nor is it helpful to our wellbeing.
hello Sewester, I wonder if you have had a bone density scan and have had your vitamin D levels tested?
I was diagnosed with numerous compressed fractured vertebrae after 6 months of pain and also not being able to climb stairs without great difficulty. I also spent months seeing different chiropractors, GP's and numerous visits by paramedics before I had an x-ray which showed the fractures. I did not have any accident and was in my early 50's but had been diagnosed with CLL 9 years previously and was still on w&w.
After numerous prescription medications not working for pain, I found Gabapentin to be the most successful pain treatment.
I have posted previously about some published medical papers showering an increased risk in people with CLL and fractures.
All of the above. If significant X Ray and other, problems are eliminated, check out"Brad and Bob, the two most famous physical therapists on the internet" on You Tube. Despite the ludicrous name these give really great, safe, practical advice, you would be hard pressed to get from a physician. One of them has severe back problems himself, so there is that to support what they recommend.
Take some small comfort in the fact that at least 75% of adults suffer with back pain.
Be aware that many physician specialties treat back pain, from orthopedics, neurosurgeons, physical rehab specialties, the list goes on. You will tend to get recommendations that ally with their financial goals, and perspective. If you go to a surgeon, for example, you may be more likely to get a recommendation for surgery.
Just a reality that those not intimately in the field may not realize.
Again, first make sure bad problems such as compression fractures , kidney disease and so forth are evaluated first.
