Hi,
Our 27 year old daughter has been diagnosed with FND, has anyone had any success with chiropractic treatment.
Hi Sugartime, I have recently started seeing an osteopath and I find it's helping. But it's going to be a long road (his words) so I'm putting my trust in him that things will get better x
It keeps me moving as I am in a wheelchair. It is no cure.
A chiropractor definitely helped my son. His chiropractor uses the Koren specific technique. My son no longer had seizures after the second visit and was able to get rid of his walker. He's pretty much cured now as long as we watch his lactose intolerance which turned out to be the cause of the whole thing. So I would certainly have your daughter try it.
Thanks so much appreciate your thoughts
Atlas Chiropractic helped me a lot.
I use a chiropractor for my FND. He uses the activator method which means no manipulation. It has helped alot! When I get bad and am back in a wheelchair he can get me up walking with my walker again. I try and go every week. The first time going to see was last Oct - at that point I was going twice a week and was in eally bad shape. I was up walking with my walker by February. I can walk around the house in spits and spurts without walker (but I am not supposed to). So yes it doe help. It doesnt help my speech or the other sypmpaoms but certainly with the mobility., God Bless your family and stay safe!
