Does this sound like NePCA?
My father recently had a pace maker fitted and

revealed a couple of spots. Was sent for ct scan getting results this week. Hx diagnosed 2018 with extensive Mets responded well to chemo, adt and then recently xtandi for 2 years. I’m scared these spots suggest neuroendocrine variant.

in March she was told in late April she had an enlarged heart and needed further tests. She has contacted the hospital for further information and been told there is a 20 week wait for the holter monitor and 40 weeks for an echocardiogram. Is this the norm at the moment?

34 years old - diagnosed with myocarditis
Thankfully my angiogram was clear of blockages, I then went on to have an echo of the heart,

of the
chest
, CT scans and a cardiac mri, all of which I’d never had before.

How to prepare for the Radiation Therapy? Your advise/help are appreciated.
My husband will receive 20 session of radiation therapy which started on 11/3/22. He is drinking 64 oz water every day therefore he is very hydrated. He is doing everything by the “book”, but Today they weren’t able to administer the radiation because he was gassy (took 2 gas x tablet 1 hour before

Lung reduction.
I got diagnosed with COPD by my GP last October after a
chest

. GP referred me to the lung medicine clinic, luckily got an appointment in January. My fev1 was 19% which explained why I was struggling. I didn't get to see my consultant at the appointment unfortunately.

Not sure what's wrong.
I ended up getting a blood test and
X

of my
chest
. Both came back as ok. Since then I’ve had an ECG which I’m told was ok albeit I have slight bradycardia. I was also sent for a spirometry test and that came back as fine. Lungs of a 35 year old apparently.

Sudden loss of ability to move?
In the ER, they gave him an IV of fluids, something to calm him, and ran all the tests for stroke,

, ekg, blood and urine. The only thing that came up odd was increased White Blood Cell count, indicative of infection, but no urinary infection.

Ablation booked at the freeman 1st Nov - Terrified can’t stop worrying
Flec and biso working but I have definitely either nasal bloody drip or some strange
chest
cough irritation (
x
ray
clear ) I believe it’s something to do with the meds and could not keep going with a cough like this … any how pre assessment next week.

Needle biopsy
Anyway following a
chest
X
-
ray
I had to stay in hospital for 2 nights as I have a pneumothorax. That is some air trapped between the lungs and the lung wall. They couldn’t aspirate (pull the air out with a needle) so I was put on oxygen overnight and continuing until I came out about an hour ago.
