Some Success with Avoiding Afib
After seeing my Afib rate of incidence go from once every couple of months to once a month to every 2 weeks -10 days, I finally got control of the factors which I believe were driving it.Doing that included: 1. Getting off of most of my blood pressure meds. (I only take 12.5 mg metoprolol twice a day

Advice please, recently diagnosed with underactive thyroid.
I’ve had a
chest

, normal. And because I sometimes feel like food gets stuck when eating, causing me discomfort, they did a gastroscope , again normal. I have read that these could also be symptoms of hypothyroidism, not sure what to do or where to get advice.

Is Warfarin/blood-thinner given by GPs (in UK) for suspected Pulmonary Hypertension - or does it require Hospital scanning first?
At the NHS hospital where this Echocardiogram was performed, the Pulmonary Hypertension doctor has requested: (1) a CT-Thorax, (2) a V/Q scan, and (3) a
chest

. (If none of these 3 tests give conclusive-information, then he will consider a Right Side Catheterisation).

How do you guys accept your chest pains?
They’re like you’re
chest
X

and ekg are fine. But of course they had to tell me you’re overweight and have high blood pressure so you fall into risk categories to have a heart attack I’m like that’s not helpful I’m only 22. The chest pains and everything feel very real when it happens

Why !!!
My peak flow was very low for me, 290 , so was given forms for blood tests and

. The next evening my breathing seemed worse as I was having difficulty drying myself after a shower.

Bloated decreased appetite
Hi, I have no formal diagnosis but a recent
chest
X
ray
showed hyperinflated lungs and I am waiting for a spirometry test to see if this is COPD. However, as well as the breathlessness, I am experiencing a constant 'fullness' in the chest, a bloatedness and my appetite has decreased.

I have not been officially diagnosed with emphysema but for 1 year my
