Struggling Financially with Leukaemia?
Financially I was okay being paid by my employer whilst I was off for the operations and during the 30 weeks of
chemotherapy
I was able to work full time, having chemo on my day off.

I need urgent help for my uncle.
He had treated this condition in the past but it ultimately came back, but this time around doctors (including a specialist in Marseille) made him know that his condition was incurable as
Chemotherapy
would be risky his body which he deemed weak.

Workplace discrimination for ADHD- has anyone successfully claimed against their employer?
I should point out that my department is myself and my jobshare colleague, who has been largely absent for months due to
chemotherapy
. I feel so angry that this situation has been allowed to happen.

Diet Advice for ET please
The doctor told me very abruptly that I had a blood cancer and would have to take
chemotherapy
for the rest of my life. She went on to say that I should never eat red meat and that I should not take any breakfast cereal which is fortified with vitamins, etc.

Princess of Wales
Many of you will have seen the Princess of Wales is having preventative
chemotherapy
for cancer. It must have been very difficult for her to speak about when still trying to digest the information herself.

Is it needed and safe for my mom to supplement with folate or B12?
My mom has had both
chemotherapy
and radiation this last year, and now has many overlapping symptoms with b12 and folate deficiencies (fatigue, mild neuropathy for years, mild memory loss/confusion at times, brain fog).

Swimming advice
I can understand, Yet I have seen that many patients undergoing
chemotherapy
are still swimming so it seems views do differ on this. As you can imagine, I miss it so much, I'm losing muscle tone (probably because I've lost weight too during treatment) and I cannot wait to get back to it.

Still on hold for stem cell transplant
Also the Mayo specialist set benchmarks for his blood counts to be met before he can receive the
chemotherapy
, with levels that he has not been at in months (possibly years). He has in fact been needing transfusions two or three times per week since December.
