Age and timing for Triplet therapy?

The ideal management modality for these patients is not well established but a combination of surgery, radiation, and
chemotherapy
may be possible options based on the extent and systemic involvement.

Divergent second opinion
My husband was recently diagnosed with PCa with 6-7 mets to the bones as seen on the PSMA Pet scan (see profile for details), The first MO we met at an NCCN center recommended triplet therapy. He has started Firmagon + Darulotomide with Docetaxel planned in the coming weeks. We also got a second opinion

PC no longer castrate resistant
Hello all, my latest pet/ct scan indicates my PC is no longer castrate resistant as there is new disease growth in my lungs. Largest lesion is 2.5 centimeters. I'm no longer taking xtandi, so it can be "washed out" of my system prior to new treatment, however I'm still getting quarterly lupron shots

Constipation from PARPS
Hello, I had a recurrence last year after being in remission for over 6 years. I was diagnosed as being a 3C and am BRAC2. I did really well with the chemo and now I have been taking Olaparib for a little less than 3 weeks. It's been rough especially at the beginning. They had to wait a few extra

Venatoclax mono therapy
I'm Interested in the Vanatoclac monetherapy which I am getting right now since summer. I cannot get a straight answer from my oncolog/hematologist at St. Joe's in Toronto or a clinical scientist at Sunnybrook about why I'm getting monotherapy and not dual therapy. I have had fewer side effects than

MSK Consult Today
Thanks to everyone who has given me excellent advice regarding my husband’s pca recurrence. Today we met with an MSK uro oncologist for a second opinion. He completely agreed and supported the plan of radiating the high pelvic nodes (including the lower abdominal nodes along the bifurcation) and slightly

Why ADT after Ray treatment?
OK, I'm sure there is a logical answer to this question but at present it is evading me. So for all of us who decide to take the ADT path for a few months to stabilize our PCa and then hit it with the big guns such as a month (or more) of IMRT and in my case a follow-up of HDR Brachy Boost therapy,

New Developments in My Husband's PCA Journey
Hello, I wanted to provide an update on my husband's progression and, hopefully, some of you may have some knowledge to share or have a similar profile. His psa has risen from <0.04 since RP for Stage 3b to 0.06 in 9/23. A recheck a week later showed a rise to 0.1. This was followed by a drop to <.04

unending chemo
Hi everyone. I’m currently on Enhertu and have been since last April. Right now, I only have Mets to my bones. Everyone is always asking me when I will finish chemo. I have asked my oncologist this as well. Her response was “when it no longer works “ I guess I just assumed that at some point I could

Hello everyone I was diagnosed with High Grade Stage 4 ovarian cancer in July 2016, and have since had chemo, then surgery, and then 2nd line chemo following a recurrence. After that, in September 2019, I was offered Niraparib, which has worked wonderfully for me! My GP has recently requested repeat

Our Pluvicto story
We have a telehealth appointment with a radiologist next week but will most likely wait on this treatment while beginning
chemotherapy
. We haven't tried xofigo yet. Our MO feels that my husband needs to recover from Pluvicto before trying xofigo.
