Liver and gall bladder
I have tumours ontop and inside of my liver but they are shrinking with weekly
chemotherapy
. Docs think pain could be pressure on a nerve or gall stones. Apparently gall stones can be caused by
chemotherapy
drugs, oncologist said its quite common.

Not PCa but related. Imuno therapies keeps getting better.
Only 1 out of 6 patients, randomized to control SoC
chemotherapy
, remained alive at data cut-off (alive at 50.6 months).

He asked me if I really thought I could stand another round of
chemotherapy
. Even though my PSA is rising, he said we should take a 30- or 60-day rest to try to strengthen my body through blood infusions to see where we go next.

PT-112 Immunotherapy Trial
From the side effects, it feels like about 10 percent of what
chemotherapy
felt like to me (docetaxel+carboplatin). After a few days of mild nausea after each treatment I mostly feel fatigued and foggy, but I'm still continuing to work.

Is nmCRPC potentially curable?
I am receiving ADT with early
chemotherapy
. I was diagnosed polymetastic but now after 5.5 years I am still on Firmagon injections only and my prostate developed a CRPC.

Another nodule immediately after chemotherapy.
Another scan was done in May at the end of the
chemotherapy
and the nodule was back and spiculated, still 6mm. The oncologist was very surprised and ordered another scan. Nodule still there. I am now waiting until October for a further scan.

Side effects of both chemotherapy and radiation to treat CLL and lymphoma
Over the last five years Iโve had two fairly intensive bouts of
chemotherapy
: ABVD and COP followed up by radiation. Recent check-up about a month ago at Sunnybrook Hospital in Toronto indicated that I was still in remission from both since 2020.

Remission after 2 months?
But he also said that the treatment with
chemotherapy
(Obinutuzumab plus V.) had to carry on, otherwise the remission will not last. I thought remission means no treatment at all. He is talking everything positive so I really question it, if I am really in remission.

Do I need to worry?
No one said anything today at the
Chemotherapy
Unit. Only that some were a little bit low. Is this a normal trend or do I have reason to be worried ? I really need some reassurance as my wife and I on Thursday are off to Germany to visit our children.

Imbalance Issues from CLL treatment?
I also saw an neurologist to test my sensory nervous system and based on the tests he believes it could be peripheral neuropathy related and possible
chemotherapy
induced due to something called Paraneoplastic syndrome where cancer fighting agents of the immune system also attack parts of the brain,

After initial relapse from
Chemotherapy
started IMBRUVICA in 2016 until February 2023. Had to stop due to health issues. After 9 months of no treatment it's back like a bad dream. Pre-Mutation stage so just started Brukinsa, like today.
