Emollient cream
My skin is very fragile and dry and I have
Cetraben
emollient cream prescribed to put on it, especially after a bath or shower. I'm wondering if it will be OK to use it on the day of my operation after my bath. I have to be at the hospital at 12.30 pm.

Doublebase gel for facial eczema- replacement?
I have also used
Cetraben
but again it leaves my face feeling sticky all day. Does anyone have a suggestion for moisturiser I can be prescribed in place of doublebase? Wonderfully my face has been clear of eczema for a few years but I’d like to keep it that way!

Very dry scaly skin
I am using
Cetraben
at the moment and it works for a few hours but I need something to keep me moisturised for at least a day. So any suggestions for a shower gel and body cream would be much appreciated. Thanks and keep safe everyone

Eczema in kids
We use
Cetraben
to moisturise his skin few times a day. We have also added salts to soften our water. It hasn’t helped either. Anyone going through the same and found some solution? Thanks, Kalyani

Very dry skin
Hello, I have very dry, itchy skin and use epaderm to wash with as well as
cetraben
to moisturise but just wondered whether anyone could recommend anything else. I've tried e45 & aveeno but no luck.

Chronic ezcema on soles of feet
I was also given Epaderm ointment and
Cetraben
cream as moisturisers as well as Dermol 200 shower emollient and Dermol 500 for washing my hands. Does anyone else have the same issue and have any advice or tips they can share?

Skin creams containing paraffin linked to fire deaths
Specific products mentioned are E45 and
Cetraben
but you'll obviously have to read the labelling to find out which whether the products you use (whatever make or brand) contain paraffin.

What emollient creams help most (e.g. Cetraben etc)
(Aqueous cream doesn't work for me...I react to something in it....and both a.c. and
cetraben
are paraffin based....so am thinking I may not tolerate
cetraben
)

Men! A shaving tip for those with scleroderma.
Don't use shaving cream as it adds to skin tightening but just rub in some
Cetraben
or other favourite moisturiser instead - doesn't dry you out!

Dry skin question
Do emollient creams like
Cetraben
, which are made from a mixture of white soft paraffin and liquid paraffin, cause long term damage to your skin and eventually make the skin even drier please?

Day 2 Cold Turkey from steroid creams
I also have a cupboard full of emollients, E45, Oilatum,
Cetraben
- you name it I have it! I've found that if I don't TOUCH, I don't itch and consequently don't scratch. Easier said than done of course as I'm sure any eczema sufferer knows.

Day 6 - Failed!
non steroid treatment thereafter She also mentioned testing for allergy to some of the ingredients of the topical steroid creams I had been using and also the emollients (
cetraben
was beginning to make my face burn too but not sure if that was tcw symptoms or what). 1.
