Prolapse but not had kids?
Hi can I ask has anyone had a prolapse that haven’t had children? I’m nearly 40 no kids and have recently felt something isn’t right inside the front wall (I think) of my vagina. I also had a couple of weeks where I thought I had a water infection so took antibiotics as I was peeing all the time. I’m

Pap Test during pregnancy???
I've been reading I'll probably have a Pap smear test with my gynecologist. Have any of you ladies had it during pregnancy??? I'm concerned of it provoking a miscarriage.

Bowel endometriosis? In need of help, advice and your stories...
Hi all, I am wondering what symptoms of bowel endometriosis look like in other people? I find some websites really generic and wondered if symptoms can differ. I highly suspect I may have bowel endometriosis. I had my period at the age of 9 (I'm 25) and since then I have been suffering from intense

Hi all, my name's Leanne and I'm 27. After suffering with endo ymptoms since the age of 14, and having a continuous battle with GPs for years, I had my first consultation with an endo specialist on Tuesday. I've had a smear and ultrasound come back clear this year so my next step is an MRI and a further

I'm confused about what my therapist meant by saying this
I was sitting and got the random intrusive thought "Go smear soap all over your TV and yourself." It was a thought. It's my understanding that we aren't supposed to do anything with intrusive thoughts. My therapist, who works with OCD, said "In the grand scheme of things, it wouldn't matter whether

any value to prostatic acid phosphatase test?
I'd never heard of this one before, but apparently it's been around a long time, was superseded by the PSA test, and now is sometimes used as an adjunct for prognosis in prostate cancer. I searched for it here, but just got tons of PSA and pap smear hits. Can anyone tell me its value and in what circumstances

Hello! I am new!
Afternoon ladies! I have been having Gynae symptoms for about six months now. So, basically, I am spotting between periods, but my spotting is more like the Niagara Falls! And with clots for extra fun too, sometimes they are MASSIVE! I am having a Gynae outpatients appointment next week, they haven't

Chemical Pregnancy and now no period. What's going on?
Hi All, After my first round of IVF and a fresh transfer I experienced a chemical pregnancy. I have now had a month to recover and I want to get started on the next transfer! :) I want to be a mommy so bad! So I am frustrated that my period has not come. I am always regular as clockwork 28 day cycle

Referral to gynae - worried about cervical cancer
At the beginning of the year I suffered with a severe urine infection and thrush. Treatment cleared up both infections. However, since this occurred I have suffered constant discomfort during intercourse, followed by some spotting. The discomfort is like a really intense stinging pain and goes away after

Hi everyone, Just wondered if anyone has experienced similar and can relate. In December 19 I had my last smear test, and I'd always had normal smears before that. It showed up that I had HPV but no abnormal cells, so they asked me to come back in 12 months time for a follow up smear. The day I got

Good morning Wonder women, I haven't posted for a while so I thought I'd update you on my current car crash of what I call my life. As you know, I had a lletz procedure under GA in March. I had my check up smear in August to determine whether the op worked. my results came back abnormal and I

Return of symptoms after a colposcopy
I was diagnosed with endometriosis of the pelvic wall in 2013. Symptoms included persistent lower pelvic pain (a ache/nerve pain) before a laparoscopy to laser lesion. Symptoms have been under control with the help of amitriptyline since then. However, symptoms have returned with a vengeance following

Could I have endometriosis, US says A-OK
Hi guys Ok, at a loss, can anyone help. I had my son 10 years ago. Spent 17 days after with so called retained product yet no outward signs. Blood test and US confirmed it and had a d&c. For about 6 years had no period but chronic period pains. That changed to a kind of light spotting/end of period clotting

Waiting for day 1 of cycle to book a scan and now it has decided to be the latest it has ever been. Has this happened to anyone else?
So my cycles are normally around 33 days. Last month I had a 28 day cycle (unusual for me, but I had been eating better etc) This cycle we did have my partners SSR and I’ve been back at work and had my cervical screening. I’m now at day 37 and nothing! This is the one cycle I’ve been relying on so I
