Celebrex

After a Rheumatologist put him on Celebrex for one month, he had bloody urine for 12 hours. I had him stop the Eliquis. Has anyone been switched to 2.5mg without any trouble? The Celebrex works well for his arthritis.

. 🤦🏻‍♀️ My bf did try the “Celebrex” but felt no relief. So he quit taking them. PCP released him and said there was nothing more for him to do so all of our eggs are in the oncologists basket right now.

I was given Celebrex and took it once but it really didn't help any more than Ibuprofen. I also have a very low dose of a muscle relaxer that I only take when I start to have muscle spasms.

He wrote a script for Celebrex. 🙄. I wanted to come here and see if any of you had any insight into these sudden headaches. I think it’s a pinched nerve but no MRI was ordered. Can you calm my fears?

Has anyone had issues with sort term or long term usage of some ra meds such as plaquenil, Celebrex causing heart palpitations?

He prescribes Celebrex and antibiotics. At the end of the antibiotic treatment I'm finally pain free for a week or two. I asked him about a scrotal nerve block. He doesn't do them but suggested I find a pain management doctor. I'm wondering if anyone else on the forum has had this done.

My GP said I could also take a Celebrex mid afternoon to help with afternoon pain and better sleep comfort. I still have almost a full bottle from what they prescribed me when they were trying to figure out what my pain was coming from. I did take one yesterday and it did take the edge off.

So, took my 6mgs at 7am, followed by 2 panadol and then a celebrex, yey Gods!!!! Not allowed. By 7pm the next day I was ready to speak. 24 hours later and after a return to routine, I am back on the horse. Moral? Just when you think you are doing well, well perhaps you’re not!

I’m only on Celebrex but don’t think it’s helping anymore. Who should I see?

Phew, so my question to all is 'would there be benefit in adding Celebrex to the Atrovastatin Allan is already in the setting of MCRPC'. I have read the literature on metastatic hormone sensitive PC and Celebrex.

I discussed the Celebrex + Zometa combo with my MO (in the context of ~20% lower mortality rate in metastatic setting), and he suggested I take Denosumab (no Celebrex).

In regard to adding them to an anti-inflammatory diet/supplement regime, some suggest a single LD-aspirin a day, some a 200-400 celebrex a day, and some suggest both (or neither).

I went to the hospital for the rib/back pain was diagnosed with Costochondritis and sent home with Celebrex. This worked but I feel like some of the symptoms are still there. My reumy recently upped my mtx from 15mg to 20mg and added Plaquenil.

Last night I took a Celebrex because I had what I think is Costochondritis pain. I took it before bed, and then my usual dose of pred, 7mgs, at 3.30am. This morning I awoke without any pain or stiffness. I usually have a bit of something that goes once I get moving.

I've been on Methotrexate for 34 years, and Celebrex for 25 years. Doesn't seem to be working anymore. Might need a 3rd back surgery. Not looking forward to that...
