Starting ADT
Since he has been diagnosed as stage IV he will be starting on
Casodex
and Lupron ( every 3 months). I'm wondering if this is standard treatment and if we should be asking for anything different?

But check this out there may be another way...LIM (less is more) which also in 75% of the cases preserves muscle mass, cardio vascular health, no brain fog, and sexual fuction...what is this miracle...IADT with only 50mg of
Casodex

What would you do?
Now, one year later, with only 150mg daily of
casodex
monotherapy, both nodes have been reduced to 1.6cm. PSA one year ago was 105; now it is 6.7 I am thinking of adding Advodart and monitoring the two nodes with scans every six months or attack them more aggressively. Choices: 1.)

I was wondering if anyone else on this can tell me how long until they saw a positive result after starting this faslodex/ibrance combo? Also would like to know if you have mets to the lungs if this worked. Thanks!

Salvage Radiation Update Success?
I chose not to go on Lupron &
Casodex
while going through radiation against radiologists recommendation. No reason for me to explain my decision making process, I did that in a previous post 5 months ago. I just received my first PSA test results on 12/2/16. My PSA was 0.06.

Common Treatments for Advanced Prostate Cancer
Three common types of anti-androgen drugs are: •Bicalutamide (
Casodex
) •Flutamide (Eulexin) •Nilutamide (Nilandron) You may take these before you start GnRH agents to avoid a hormone flare or if other hormone therapy stops working. How you take them. Some hormone therapy drugs are pills.

Cycling T and ADT?
If Cycling T and ADT would work by preventing CRPC why wouldn't doing 3 month on/off cycles of
Casodex
or Xtandi work...would the AR receptors mutate over time...but one fact is for sure ...anything beats continuous ADT with all its side effects the worse being CRPC and a long painful death.

Finally might get better!
Phew. You may remember me from October and early November. I've been suffering a long exacerbation and been on steroids since 11th Oct. 2 admissions into hospital, came out 12 days ago. Still not better, but missed my consultant appointment while I was in hospital and got sent to the back of the queue

Hi, I am Denni. I am a 66 year old female metastatic breast cancer #lifer #thrivor. I currently reside in Angels Camp, CA. I was diagnosed in December of 1995 with Stage III cancer in my right breast. My mother died from breast cancer when I was 13 and she was 54, so I chose to have bilateral mastectomies

Further, [2] reports synergy with
Casodex
, so it might work well with Xtandi. {As with almost all natural products, there have been no PCa clinical trials.}
