Faslodex and weight gain?
Another question? I would like to know if anyone on Faslodex has gained weight? I gained 2 pounds and was reading Faslodex causes weight gain. I’m not worried about a few pounds but some said 20 pounds... I know I have gotten older but don’t need extra weight to slow me down more. I know that’s a small

EO up
Hey everyone, had my Faslodex second injections yesterday no pain. My blood work is back to normal except my EO Went from 2.2 to 8.1 in 2 weeks. It was normal before my Faslodex injection. Has anyone else had this with Faslodex? It says infection or sinus can cause increase. Now I’m worried the Faslodex

Results/question after passing of Dad
According to mother, they tried
casodex
, Lupron, Zytega, Radium 223, Taxotere, Cabizitaxel, Xtandi, and a cabazitaxel/carbo cocktail when it has spread to adrenal glands. My dad became blood transfusion dependent from 2016-Feb 2018, requiring 1-2 units (bags) every Monday.

Post Radiation PSA Questions
Also, I have been on hormone therapy (Bicalutamide/
casodex
) for the past 6 months. Radiation oncologist said there were no studies for Bicalutamide for less than 2 years. When I told doc that I want to quit the Bicalutamide, he responded that was up to me as a “quality of life” decision.

Does anyone have any problems with getting a little sun while on Faslodex or Ibrance? I mean I will wear sun screen but I’m dark olive skin. I never burn but I will wear sun screen which I never had to do. We are going on vacation in June and I would like to get some sun 🌞.Thanks

A month of Casodex monotherapy
Did a month of
Casodex
monotherapy and got down to 3.0 and T at 291 - up 40 from last month. Same lab. maybe an outlier. Was braced for another PSA doubling, but will be spared an ADT reboot at least for another month. Have a MedOnc appt on Friday.

Port...
I’m thinking about getting my Port removed. I will be taking Faslodex but isn’t that injections? It’s very large and on my left side of my chest. I know some women that keep them forever. I know women that just keep them in if Chemo is needed again. I’m sure my oncologist will say keep it in..😞. Just

Thanks all
After only four days off of
Casodex
and no new Lupron shot I can feel my head clearing and some indications of my old self coming back. If I can have an "old self" for a few months I'm a happy camper. Once again, this is a special place and I thank you all. Stay tuned.....:)) Wayne

I am currently on Ibrance and Faslodex and have muscle aches and spasms. I just finished the 3rd cycle amends. Has anyone noted increased muscle pain on these meds?

Why I Like Right To Try
Hello Apalutamide..the problem here is Apalutamide is very similar to Xtandi and both drugs have a chemical structure based on
Casodex
...so if Apalutamide works you get maybe 3 months.

A wife's introductory post
Because he was declared as being beyond surgery and radiation, the monthly injection of LupronDepot was prescribed by his urologist plus the daily med -a generic of
Casodex
and the Tamusolin (sp?).

Slow recovery from Chemo, Round 4, Session 2
So the chemo did it's job the first go round, and after that treatment was concluded my MO rechallenged with
Casodex
from February 17 through May. PSA jumped from 1.25 to 56 in 4 months. So we tried Zytiga, and that began on 7/4/17.

Xtandi
I have been on Xtandi for two months and PSA is now down to .59 and I feel much better than when I was on Lupron and
Casodex
. I have read the literature and it seems that Xtandi may work from three to 22 months. They don't ever seem to tell you what the standard deviation is.
