Hi everyone, I had a
cardiac
arrest
back in February this year. I was out running with a friend, and towards the end of the run we did a sprint finish resulting in my heart stopping and I collapsed. Luckily my friend knew CPR and saved my life that day.

Troponin serial levels
I had an Out of Hospital
Cardiac
Arrest
back in Sept last year. Long story short came out of hospital a week later with a defibrillator implanted. However, my discharge letter stated that a Troponin test was done as usual I presume and the serial levels were quoted as 163 and 425.

Hi, I’m 28 years old and have suffered
cardiac
arrest
. My heart stopped pumping blood to to the top of my heart causing it to loose oxygen I believe making it fail? my ejection fraction when in hospital was 17% I worked it to health to 34% and now am sitting at 20%.

ICD - DVLA rules says LV EF >35?
The cardio sort of brushed off our concerns about being ‘stranded’ with a “oh it’s only a month unless it’s a
cardiac
arrest
situation in which case it can be up to a 6 month ban”. Driving is incredibly important to us and will play part in the decision process on if to have an ICD or not.

Being a Little Cautious about Exercise
Today, at one of England's top Premier League football matches a player had a
cardiac
arrest
during the game. Fortunately it was not fatal and I'm sure there were many qualified people there to provide the best on-the-spot immediate attention necessary before he was eventually taken to hospital.

Long QT
My daughter had a
cardiac
arrest
upon waking up whilst on holiday, she's only 16 and fortunately her sister was sharing a room with her and came to us for help. My wife went outside our chalet for help whilst I did all I could not knowing really what was happening.

I have a 7 year history of AFIB and have my second Cardiac Ablation on Wednesday. I have paroxysmal AFIB not so bad after last ablation 18 months ago, but as luck has it I haven't had an episode for two weeks. Last time my consultant said they can induce it forthe ablation, which they did. does anyone

Dad has delayed response to swallowing reflex when being weaned from tracheostomy… anyone have any similar experience?
I posted a couple of weeks ago about my Dad taking a while to wake up from his sedation, he has been hospitalised now for almost 8 weeks, he was in an induced coma for 3 weeks, after suffering severe heart damage following a
cardiac
arrest
and two further heart attacks on route to the hospital.

Struggling with life
They wont do a wedge pressure test through fear of me having
cardiac
arrest
like last time they tried. They said the varacies are well covered so if I keep on taking the beta blockers and HE meds I can turn this around, stop drinking and in 6 months get on the transplant list.
