3 years since our world turned upside down

Dr's visited didn't go as I
I don't know if it the high dosage of Benadryl they gave me , but blood pressure went out of control at some point I thought I was to go into
Cardiac
arrest
. Luckily it started to normalize itself after sometime. I got two units of blood yesterday and through the night my hemoglobin is up to 9.

Exercise and AF
Hi everyone, I am reaching out for advice around exercise and having the condition of atrial fibrillation I am 35 and was diagnosed with AF last year. I underwent a electrophysiological study as I have an accessory pathway and they wanted to see if that was causing my AF. Long and short of it is that

Cardiac Ablation Looks Successful!
I was diagnosed with Paroxysmal Afib in April of 2022. During my annual physical my PCP heard what he thought was a murmur, and called in a consult. After testing the afib was confirmed. I never noticed it, but started monitoring with a smartwatch and began to feel the episodes as they progressed. This

Support after cardiac arrest
hi, my dad recently suffered a
cardiac
arrest
. Prior to this, he was suffering with heart palpitations when each time he would go to A&E. they’d do all the checks and say everything is fine. I think these ‘heart flutters’ are down to anxiety.

and my heart stopping for 11 minutes. Fortunately my daughter had called the ambulance team who arrived just as I went into

and they performed CPR and defib me 4x and saved my life.

Today marks the beginning of National CPR/AED Awareness week!
An AED (Automated External Defibrillator) is an emergency life-saving device that can be used by anyone to help restart the heart when Sudden
Cardiac
Arrest
(SCA) strikes. Using an AED together with CPR is the only way to restart the heart’s natural rhythm following a SCA, and anyone can use one!

However someone up there (probably Dad) must have noticed I needed something; I had a unexpected phone call today from work, we are getting a defib fitted and they want to do a talk (whole school assembly) about heart attacks and what to do if someone has a

The clot lodged in such a way that it caused me to go into
cardiac
arrest
. Thank Goodness that after 16 minutes I was revived. I spent the next 5 weeks in ICU, in which two of those weeks I was in a coma. It's been a hard road. I am now restarting treatment with Keytruda only.

Dealing with brother in ICU, dealing with Sepsis, stroke, cardiac arrest and seizures, please help!
The sepsis led to a
cardiac
arrest
, a major stroke, kidney failure, seizures. All this has effected his brain. We are devastated because of whats happened. We are praying and hoping he gets better some how. Doctors have given him a very poor prognosis. We don’t know what to do.

Caution: regarding medical procedure to insert a gel to protect organs while undergoing radiation
I’m 73 and I recently had this procedure done and it seems to be working well. But a word of caution. I’ve had some severe back problems where 3 vertebra are pinching nerves for several years. Typically the pain is sporadic and only a 3-4 out of 10. I have in the past had a couple very painful bouts
