He's had a triple heart bypass, squamous cell
carcinoma
on his head, and a few other things go wrong during this time, but hey ho, he's still here and smiling (most of the time). Last July he complained of pains down his left leg. First thought, Sciatica. Back scan. No, not that. Next, knee?

But, androgens aside: "The protective effect of statins was observed in the meta-analysis of numerous studies including ... stomach cancer, esophagus cancer, and hepatocellular

The story so far
To cut a long story short, they found that I had
Carcinoma
in-situ (CIS) and have started me on a 6 week BCG regime. I'm approaching week 3 of this, and the worst bit about it is having to walk up and down the hospital corridor whilst trying to hold it in for 2 hours.

In human hepatocellular
carcinoma
cells, one of the 13 miRNAs that was upregulated on EGCG treatment was miR-16, a tumor suppressor miRNA that mediated apoptosis via downregulation of Bcl-2. This mechanistic target was identified based on transfection studies [169].

Basal cell carcinoma
I then had a letter calling me back - unfortunately I have not been able to get an appointment with this GP but saw another who read the results as a basal cell
carcinoma
. She told me not to worry about it and see the other GP in 3 months.

T3 after completion thyroidectomy
They found papillary
carcinoma
so I had completion thyroidectomy 4 weeks ago. I'm seeing endo 1st app in 3 weeks. I've been taking Thybon 20 henning (T3) 3 times a day along with 6 calcichew and 2 calcichew with d3. Had bloods done a week ago as I thought I would be seeing endo this week.
