Another Cancer
The biopsy said I have sarcomatoid
carcinoma
of the urinary bladder. It's rare, aggressive, and has a poor prognosis. I'm waiting for the referral so they can start looking at staging and treatment. I have no symptoms, so I'm hoping they found this very early.

Squamous cell carcinoma
Hi, Can I ask if there are many people on the site that had the squamous variety of oesophageal cancer. I had to have 75% of my oesophagus removed as the cancer was stage 3 and in the middle of the oesophagus. I am 8 months post oesophagectomy and am getting wheezing in my chest on some days. I am wondering

What is working for me
I also had a basal cell
carcinoma
on my nose that looked like a small volcano that would leak out blood if touched. Well, the volcano closed up and shrunk down to almost nothing. It is difficult to see at this time as it is just a slight bump.

Worthwhile: an article, a presentation, and a table
among other things how NOTCH can point to limited effectiveness of ibrutinib (once you start treatment), on how a mutation may mean non-responsiveness to chemo for patients who are fit, under age 65, and umIGHV, involvement of NOTCH with Richter’s transformation, also involvement with squamous cell

Refused surgery!!! Help!
Then saw a letter to GP saying diagnosis high grade 3 serous endometrial
carcinoma
, so googled it - rare aggressive type, poor prognosis. It seems to behave more like ovarian cancer than endometrial which is how I found this forum and hope can help with same treatment options.

A biopsy showed "poorly differentiated
carcinoma
" with one (CD56) neuroendocrine marker, but none of the other more common ones (synaptophysin, chromogranin). It also doesn't show traditional prostate cancer markers (ie. PSA, androgen receptor). Results of DNA test are pending.
