Well without vitamins, thyroid antibodies and Ft3....doesn’t tell you much

TSH slightly below typical

Ft4 just below mid range....ie normal

Before considering seeing any thyroid specialist endocrinologist (looking at post today) you really want FULL thyroid and vitamin testing done BEFORE consultation

Looking at previous posts, and having had such a devastating year, loosing your son, endocrinologist should look at testing adrenal levels too

What vitamin supplements are you currently taking

When were vitamin D, folate, ferritin and B12 last tested

Obviously you need to have TSH, Ft4 and Ft3 tested together

Recommended on here that all thyroid blood tests should ideally be done as early as possible in morning and before eating or drinking anything other than water .

Last dose of Levothyroxine 24 hours prior to blood test. (taking delayed dose immediately after blood draw).

This gives highest TSH, lowest FT4 and most consistent results. (Patient to patient tip)

Is this how you do your tests?

Unfortunately this has come unexpectedly. Phone call yesterday. Not seen her before and the 3rd time to arrange ?

It’s a Zoom appointment.

I am with another endo in a ‘joint’ hospital trust . So why . I guess it’s going to be the heavy mob to lower my meds.

Which incidentally is keeping me with the best quality of life in at least 3 decades !

What chance do I have , I find if difficult to ‘stsnd’ up for myself as I’m a quiet sort of person . So no hope there then ☹️
