hi all, can you take alpha-lipoic acid at anytime of the day away from thyroid meds? I’ve got burning mouth syndrome/metallic taste in my mouth and read the above can help (with vitamin c and L Lysine) but it can interfere with thyroid meds? Many thanks 🙏🏼

Ct showed tumor but not on colonoscopy
Hello all. So my father, who is in his late mkd60s, was having digestive symptoms- pain and trouble passing stool. After seeing his doctor several times he ended up in the er where a ct scan was done. The ct scan showed a large (6 cm) ill defined mass at the junction of the descending and sigmoid colon

Just completed a whole gland TULSA procedure
This was salvage treatment after failure of SBRT by MRIdian in Mar 2020.PSA nadir after SBRT was 2.4 and it rose to 5.3 just 3 years later, when a PSMA scan showed 2 possible tumours within the gland. A subsequent biopsy confirmed local tumour recurrence with Gleason 4+4. Interventional radiotherapy

anyone else feel wierd after discontinuing Piqray / Faslodex?
Hi all, my docs took me off Piqray and Faslodex a week ago. Since then I’ve had worse night sweats and diarrhea then when I was on the drugs! Plus a lingering headache and overall yucky feeling. I assumed it would resolve after a couple days but it’s been a full week. Has anyone else experienced that

Reacting to piqray.
Don’t want to worry anyone, but just wanting to know if anyone has had this reaction to Piqray. I’m into my second week. On Piqray and Fulvestrant. At first I thought it was only my bottom, (left side) near site of injection, that was itchy. Then I started feeling a prickly feeling all over my body.

Family and loss and fear
So far in my life 3 family members had cancer and passed. I was about 3, so I don't remember the first one. I was 15 when my 9 year old cousin passed, and 21 when my grandmother passed. I lost more people in my life but cancer changes how you view their deaths. My father was diagnosed with cancer about

CRISPR: hopes and research
I will keep you posted, also because it's a very fascinating technique that could potentially solve many health problems (and of course be used for evil...but that's not CRISPR fault, it's a fault in our brain!...which obviously CRISPR cannot fix!) "In addition, we also analyzed whether “i-CRISPR” has

Q1: Why do my records say 'possible' squamous cell, when I had a biopsy. A: we were told that it had been confirmed to us at a meeting on 11/11/21. but the resulting report still says 'possible' and neither me or my husband recall being told a confirmed diagnosis. Reason given: we were too upset to

Update: post-radiation and New meds
Hello Friends and warriors! Dragonfly is updating the latestest treatment... Radiation to the sacrum and L5 (10 treatments) ended on Dec 4th but since then I've had a rollercoaster of side effects...mostly stiffness and muscle spasms that catch me unawares when I get up or sit down. I truly thought

Clear cell ovarian cancer
Hi, I was discharged from my oncologist in February and told I was to have gyny/onc appointments every three months for the first year at my own hospital. My referral seems to have been lost but I have managed to get an appointment in mid July. As my cancer was clear cell ovarian cancer I am worried
