polycystic liver disease
I wanted to find out if anyone else had experienced severe Polycystic Liver Disease. I had resection 12 years ago which was successful but my cysts have grown back more aggressively. I have been advised by specialist that they cannot de-roof as would space simply be filled by other cysts, resection

Hello. I suddenly developed loud tinnitus in my left ear 3 months ago and went to the doctors. It's a very high pitched ringing and varies between loud and very loud and sometimes has different pitches all at once like an orchestra. It's constant, 24/7. I'd had a very slight ringing for several months

Question re: Ablation of Liver Mets
Hello! I've had liver mets - in addition to bone - for a little over a year. When I was scheduled for a biopsy of the liver (a year ago), I asked my doc if they could ablate the tumor at that time and she "found/chose" a surgeon who would do this. So it seemed to be non-routine. I received a bill

My docetaxel experience so far
For those who may be interested, I started docetaxel chemo on 20th October and have just had my 3rd infusion on 8th December. I did moderate fasting the day before for the first infusion but haven't bothered since. I wore iced gloves and socks and munched on ice cubes during the chemo sessions. I've

For ILC or Lobular ladies
This video was released within the last 10 days from by LBCA (Lobular Breast Cancer Alliance). Highlights of 2023 International ILC Symposium. The video is about 2 hours long with a lot of info. I want to listen again because of all the info. A couple things I initially took away all or almost all

'Headspin'
I'm sure we have all had a 'Spinning Head' at some time or other, especially since being diagnosed with CLL. Many of us soon realise that CLL is soon joined by a host of other Diagnosis and Prognosis, which can overwhelm us at times,, thus the perpetual 'Headspin'. After five years of W&W, I was told

Hello all my fellow thrivers! After taking Piqray + monthly shots of Fulvestrant and Zoladex for more than a year, my latest pet scan revealed progression and found new mets in liver, lymph nodes and bone. Paclitaxel and hair loss
hi everyone, I have just had my 3rd paclitaxel today, I am on weekly doses via IV and have no signs of my hair falling out? Not even a slight bit? I’m concerned that it means it’s not working, has this happened to anyone else or does the hair loss come a little later down the line?
