Does anyone test food for gluten on request in UK?
I avoid all 'gluten-free' processed foods, but find tahini excellent as it has lots of
calcium
, minerals, etc. It only contains one ingredient - sesame seed. I even go for the organic range to stay extra healthy. I have tried a number of ranges of tahini, all have been fine.

No diabetes or hypertension but GFR/Creatinine cratering
A1c was normal, blood sugar normal (89), no protein in urine, BUN low, BUN/Creatinine normal, normal
calcium
, and potassium. My GFR was 54 and my Creatinine was 1.39 on February 17th and on March 8th my GFR had dropped to 47 and my Creatinine went up to 1.50.

Supplements
Has anyone ever been given calciferol vitamin d and
calcium
tablets? My onc asked the GP to prescribe after I asked her if there were any supplements I should take. I read there were possible side effects from excess
calcium
in the urine .

Blood test results.
The white cell count is now a healthy 6.1 ( 3.5 - 11.0), & the
calcium
is now in range. I have included the tests that I should have had in the past, ( like prolactin & Parathyroid) they were ordered but not done when needed, these are as I would now expect - normal.

Not Rhumatoid arthritis, not high calcium level but a hair line fracture!!
I was told just before Christmas that my hip pain might be due to rheumatoid arthritis, then got a letter to say that my
calcium
levels were high so I had to stop taking the
calcium
tablets.

Calcium
Since adopting a vegan diet I've thought a lot of how to ensure adequate nutrients but one I've overlooked is
calcium
. I see the NHS guideline is 700mg a day. How do we ensure we get that?

Lime in water
Hi all, I have been taking
calcium
but don't like doing so, and need magnesium as a consequence too. But now I have reduced to 2mg and I have my own well with lots of lime (CaCO3) in it. I was thinking that getting it all the tea I drink, several cups, several times a day may be enough.

Radiation and MBC
For the first time though my blood test pre treatment showed my
Calcium
level a bit low. I take 5 Adcal +D3 over every two day period. I wondered if my level dropped due to Radiation but apparently this isn’t so. I have to increase the Adcal now.
