according to blood work
calcium
, Vitamin D and Alp are in the normal range. The sad part is since no test was done prior to starting ADT I have no baseline. This could be due to normal age-related wear and tear or two years on Prednisone. I think both. Even though I'm on 5 mg.

In view that I have great cholesterol numbers and nothing else was revealed with intensive-in depth testing, except for a 337
Calcium
score, I would like to be more aggressive with my afib than just taking blood thinners for the rest of my life. Eliquis has basically changed who I am.

Discussion: Vascular Calcification / bone disorder in CKD
He suggests ( but doesn't show adequately) dietary
calcium
as harmless irrespective of intake whereas
calcium
supplements do the harm. This may be the result of absorbability?? Lastly, the role of magnesium levels in offsetting
calcium
effects. Worth exploring that.

Wish I could be problem free!!
I was going to have lunch today and then didn't want to leave my flat. I am under the mental health act and my psychiatrist wrote that she had no problem with me taking valium and zopiclone as I don't drink or buy drugs. But I request them, go to the chemist and there was one zopiclone. I enquired

Have really bad stomach pains/constipation since changing to the chewable tablets. Anyone else?
I have been taking Caltrate
calcium
+ Vit D3 supplements for over a year with no problems at all. Sadly I can't get these in Cyprus anymore so I've bought an alternative called Natecal D3, which are chewable.

Magnesium
As we know magnesium can become depleted, especially if we take
calcium
supplements, so some of us supplement our dietary intake of magnesium. Here is an interesting article described ten different kinds.

Is a calcium score of nearly 2500 REALLY high?
Has anyone else had a
calcium
score thatās so high? Or does anyone know if this means all his arteries are likely to be effected (am guessing itās unlikely that itās ājustā the ones in his heart that have so much
calcium
?) Thank you

Bone loss
I also take
calcium
and magnesium at dinner. My hip bone mass needs improvement. Will this vitamins intake help with increased bone mass? My doctor in USA suggests taking Fosamex or other meds.

Im awaiting a bone density scan (6 weeks wait) but in the meantime my consultant prescribed
calcium
/D3 tablets. After reading about this, Iām scared to take them as thereās a lot of adverse reactions to both, including the palpitations I had.
