Suitable drugs for hypertension
I already know
calcium
channel blockers are not good for RLS and I cannot take beta blockers which make my heart go much too slow. Could any of you good folk give me advice on what I might be able to ask for? I appreciate your help. Thank you

Barrigel and markers
This Wednesday I am scheduled to have barrigel and markers. Doctor told me to take two extra strength Tylenol an hour before the procedure as well as one Valium. Also, antibiotics. Is the one Valium enough to calm me down as I am pretty anxious about the procedure? Has anyone else who has had these?

Severe Osteoporosis - Understanding the scan report and treatment
He said my choices were: Prolia once a month for 2 years (he does not recommend this) Forteo - daily injection for 2 years or Evenity - once a month for a year He also told me to start taking
calcium
and Vit D daily. Not very kind to my touchy GI. There was no mention of diet or exercise.

Zoledex no HRT
I’ve read other posts on zoledex and get a feel that it’s a mixed bag in respect of how people react on it , I was wondering if anyone knew of a natural alternative for HRT and I’ve also read zoledex can effect your bones and to take
calcium
and vitamin D supplements, my gynaecologist hasn’t mentioned

Ringing in ears
Im a 53 year old male .A few days ago I started getting ringing in the ears . This has gotten progressively worst and I went to the GP yesterday to get my ears checked out. 7 September 2023 YOU are going to be okay
G'day my dear ms family. This is for YOU newbies (newly diagnosed) out there. Relax, do not panic, YOU ARE GOING TO BE OKAY. I understand the fear, the questioning and the blame, BUT YOU are going to be okay. Slowly pull yourself together and wipe away your tears, This will NOT be the last

Advice on labs needed please
Also, my D has dropped, I was advised to stop supplements due to high
calcium
and phosphorus levels, but think I might need to start again at least for the winter. I'm not involving the endo at this stage, she'd just panic about the TSH! It seems that's all they care about!!! Thanks for advice

Valium for the flight
morning all. I had a CA in 2019 and it’s been a long road building up my confidence and trust again but I’m goin on holiday soon but Iam starting to get very nervous about flying. What if I take ill on plane? I’ve heard people take a Valium before flight if nervous. Would that be ok on my heart meds?

Question regarding Iodine
I have low blood
calcium
, and parathyroid issues, so I have no choice but to take
calcium
. I have been taking plant based
calcium
from seaweed because I heard it is better for you. But I am now concerned about the iodine. I take 2 tablets daily which equates to 0.0088350mg of iodine.

Help! Doctor has refused my Pred repeat request.
Is it because on my regular blood tests I have just been found to have excess parathyroid hormone (10.5) which I believe takes
calcium
from your bones and I have osteoporosis?
